Thanks for posting this! I installed a bearing very easily in my Dakota using a pulley puller with a large socket on the center stud. Went through 2 bearings trying to use the hammer method! This is smooth and easy. I lightly sanded the bore firs then cleaned well and used a teflon style thin lube.

I noticed you inserted the entire bushing where others just replaced the center part of the bushing you inserted. Do I have that correct? My videos are here under the CAMPBASE LOGO but nothing on this issue yet.
@@Campbase1 This part was a bearing, not a bushing. The bushing would go in the same way but the bearing is a better choice for a performance application. Either way, install is the same. The Mopar Bearing/Bushing is a much larger outside diameter than Chevy, also.
I see videos where a needle bearing goes into the flywheel and videos where the bearing is inserted into the crank end. With one in the flywheel is an additional one necessary in the crank or is it just empty space?
I had to spread the jaws to accommodate the larger bolts that fit the flywheel. But to answer your question, yes, most of the auto parts stores that have loaner tools would have a steering wheel puller available. But, you don't want to modify it unless you're willing to buy! A cheap one can be had reasonable that would be more than adequate for this job.

The guy who I built the engine for brought it to me. I think he found it at Advance Auto Parts. It's a common bearing.
