Thailand and Vietnam are the two countries I want to visit the most, so I am super thrilled that I can experience them through your parent's eyes. I also love that you made the effort to learn a bit of the local language.

Very humble and down to earth parents. They might enjoy walking in the old streets and night markets of Taiwan. Relaxing in natural hot spring. Perhaps one day you can bring them there. Love your videos
Another top video you two. More trips to the market needed now they have limbered up with the exercises. I think we're going to Vietnam again for 2024.
Loving your videos with your Mum and Dad, they'll have the best memories of this holiday with you both. It's heartwarming to watch you all enjoying the experience. ❤
Absolutely incredible Ellis, this is one amazing video, so glad you took your parents to Vietnam, I love it when you go back to Vietnam it's practically your second home now because you've been there so many times and it absolutely brings me joy seeing yours and Alicia's face light up stepping foot back into Vietnam

I love how everyone is getting an opportunity to experience my incredible motherland and enjoy all of her hospitalities. Your dad's response to what he thinks of the Vietnamese coffee is amazing hahaha. "Get another one." And your mom's reaction to sugarcane juice "Oh my word". Those are my words always exactly. Enjoy your travels.
Such a great video, Ellis! This wasn't their first time in Asia, right? If so, wow, they are good sports and pretty open-minded and willing to try anything. At that age, sitting on those stools cannot be easy, but they look like that wanted to try anything and just immerse themselves. Your dad was like a kid in a candy store and his excitement and curiosity was so contagious. Makes for a such a great video. Take them to Ninh Binh, Hoi An and Hue. I bet they'd love those places.

@@EllisWR Yeah right. It's such a great experience watching your video contents. And see how passionate alisa and you travel, explore, adapt and too much knowledge to tell the world, which is you're not only can enjoy tourist attractions places but also try others places that not common for tourist, Logger, TH-camr, etc2. And i would say, both you and alisa are foods lover. Everywhere you step, you won't miss to try what local offers. That's the reason I keep tracking your channel. I would say, good contents for people to learn (especially local language), to appetite culture and foods, and most importantly giving a string to attach with people wherever you go. Great video! Your parents are so cute. I also tried Banh Mi Mama and enjoyed it too. For some reason I love Hanoi better than Saigon. Love the people and the food. Cant wait for more vids with your parents.
Overseas Viets have been selling HCMC hard over Hanoi since they're still bitter about the war. But the Western vloggers I've seen love Hanoi and the north better. I think they like the culture, tradition, history, etc., which HCMC lost in trying to be too Western. Hanoi has this quiet charm that attracts foreign travelers. Vacationers/travelers don't want to go see/do things they can see/do in any Western country, which is what HCMC is like. Also, there's more natural beauty in the north from the caves to the karsts on land and in water. There's Ninh Binh, which many foreigners absolutely love.
Absolutely great to see you do the real Vietnamese street food experience, none of that westernised fake street experience. Also a delight to see a pom doing one of these videos.
Hope you and your family will go to West Lake to see the sunset, try Pho Chien Phong, Pho cuon at Ngu Xa street. It is a wonderful spot in Hanoi besides Hoan Kiem Lake.
Ellis and Lishe, been watching since the video's on the sea coast in England.. before this launched. This is EPIC to watch Mum and Dad hang out and eat. Well done.
Ellis oi its a Friday evening here in West Sussex I am home alone watching your video about Hanoi my home town. Missing it so much and dying for the food you and your parents are having. I recognise every location in the video.. and OMG, just as I was wondering about where it is that you have pho that you keep saying it’s so good, the camera shows its 20 Nguyen Thương Hien,,,, ít was MY street. I lived there all my life until I got married . My house was just a few doors down on the same side.. It was nothing like it is now. It used to be very quiet with just a couple of tea stalls on street. Can’t wait to come back in a couple of months. Thanks for your lively video. Enjoy your time there and all the best 😊. Meanwhile I’ll keep being depressed here in the cold, dead quiet little village in your England 😅
Welcome back to Vietnam , glad to see you introduced the banh cuon (steamed soft rolls) to your parents . I also see you came back to eat noodles from the vendor who is fluent in english .
