Why Saudi Arabia's Hidden Biblical History Could Be at Risk

  • Some of the most fascinating sites in biblical history are believed to be in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Mount Sinai, where Moses heard from God.
Today, the area deep in the northwest corner of the Saudi desert is more populated by camels than people, but if Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has his way, this area rich in biblical history could soon be lost to a major development project.
The heir to the Saudi throne recently announced the region as the site of his new $500 billion megacity, which might one day house up to nine million people and re-think everything about how people live, work and play.

Ron Wyatt, anesthesiologist from US, and amateur archaeologist, discovered all of these places in the late '80s and early '90s. I have never understood why the church has not accepted his many discoveries. Including the Ark of the covenant, Noah's ark, remains of Sodom and Gomorrah, and of course the Dead Sea crossing from Exodus, along with coral encrusted chariot wheels and gold chariot wheels, (mentioned in the Bible as the Pharaoh's special chariots). They have been filmed and photographed underwater at this very site. I hope I get to see these miraculous objects intact one day.

Abraham was a Hebrew; Exodus mentioned Hebrews as those in Goshen. Even the “new testament” mentions Hebrews, Paul called himself a Hebrew of Hebrews.
Messianic is a Messiah follower, we don’t ignore God’s law like traditional Christianity does. The Messianic groups believe the sabbath, holy days/moedim, and clean meats still matter. Some wear the tassels mentioned in Numbers 15:38-40 and Deuteronomy 22:12. Messianic Jewishs and those grafted in to Israel (Romans 11:17-27, Ephesians 2:10-3:6) believe in Christ as well as keeping commandments and as many of God’s instructions as possible. @hakim arkam - The Qur'an continuously describes, in explicit terms, the creation of "al-ard", which can be translated as either "Earth" or "land", as a flat structure. The use of metaphors and words intimately associated with flat objects (such as beds and carpets) is especially common in cases where the context of the verse makes it clear that the word "al-ard" is being used to describe the creation of the Earth.
Qur'an 2:22 - firashan ("thing spread to sit or lie upon")
      Qur'an 13:3 - madad ("extend", "stretch out")
      Qur'an 15:19 - madad ("extend", "stretch out")
      Qur'an 20:53 - mahdan ("bed")
      Qur'an 43:10 - mahdan ("bed")
      Qur'an 50:7 - madad ("extend", "stretch out"

      Qur'an 71:19 - bisaatan ("carpet")
71:15 And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out)
Obviously there are more verses with the persistent use of flat metaphors
There’s even a Hadith that talks about a 2nd verse. Any ideas what shape this 2nd earth is? You guessed it - flat

Wow, this is so wonderful for bible students. I have seen a video on this area before but it didn't show where it was exactly. This was much clearer. I hope the Saudis don't ruin the place. This is the place where THE ALMIGHTY GOD OF HEAVEN CAME DOWN TO SPEAK WITH A MAN, MOSES. AND AT OTHER TIMES. IT SHOULD BE REVEARED.

Muslims have a must to not destroy any Church or Jewish temple because the name of Allah is spoken there, we should protect these places if it was in our land, so don't worry and btw The Middle East is full of Old Churches that have been protected by Islam there is even a Mosque built next to a Church so they can defend the Church.

@@earlysda do you have anything to prove what you said??? If you see what I said you can go to Egypt and see the mosque next to the church so it can defend it, and Islam isn't about fighting for heaven its the only right religion right now so no need to fight to heaven, other than that if Defending about Islam is fighting then yes we defend and back our religion and trust me you wouldn't be liking life after insulting Islam publicly

There's a fantastic book that documents the finds in this area, as well as the Exodus as a whole. There's over 300 color photos, and helpful charts to compare the proposed sites for Sinai. It's now even available as an e-book through some libraries that use OverDrive.

The problem is that Leonard‘s does not have expertise in this area. And he makes a lot of mistakes. This could very well be Mount Sinai but it’s important to take a look at the whole picture. Cornuke is the worst.
I’ve read the books I’ve watched all the documentaries but I’ve also looked at full-fledged Christian archaeologists that really know what they’re doing in their fields and are defending the Bible and they are honest about the very huge problems with this potentially being the site. I think it’s important to take a look at that too without our blinders on.

    • @MarkMetternichPhotographyLLC
      @MarkMetternichPhotographyLLC ปีที่แล้ว +1

@hakim arkam Your post here is so ridiculous. It would take a year to answer all the questions in it and to show you how fallacious it is.
Paul was writing within 3 to 5 years maximum of when the crucifixion took place Likely around 35AD, and he is already quoting older creeds that have the deity of Jesus in them, the crucifixion, the resurrection, the atonement and all the fundamentals there.
And he does this in many of his letters.
Even secular scholars will admit this.
And it is known by scholars that creeds take some time to be developed and circulated. They know that these creeds go back all the way to the time of Jesus and maybe even before the crucifixion and resurrection.
Maybe take a look into that information.
You have a load of information from one extreme side of the story but let’s see if you have a full view of the full story. Or are you completely biased?

    • @MarkMetternichPhotographyLLC
      @MarkMetternichPhotographyLLC ปีที่แล้ว +2

Have you ever looked into the evidence of all the cows/bulls that are on the “altar“ and how they are all over Arabia and are not at all unique to those boulders?
Have you looked into the fact that the language and the writing that is in and around the location is NOT the early Hebrew script Moses and the Hebrews used? How it is FAR more modern than the time of Moses?
Have you looked into the true depths of the gulf of Aqaba? Do you really think that millions of people rock climbed straight up to get to the other side?
Have you noticed that the mountain is not the only mountain in the area burnt black? There is an entire mountain range and more that spans many tens of miles that has the exact same black on it?
How much dry sifting or wet shifting has been done by professional archaeologists at the site to find any critical artifacts that can link it to the correct time frame of the exodus?
Following the narrative of the Bible carefully, how in the world would elderly people, pregnant women, children and flocks of livestock travel anywhere near that kind of distance to get to that mountain in the clear time frames it discusses?
This is only a few of maybe 50 really critical questions that need to be addressed.
What is the dating of the pottery found around the mountain? Does it fit the newest profound evidence for the Exodus and it timeframe?
Why are there other bolders like the “split bolder” on hills in and around the same area, with the same type of erosion (rounding) on them?
Who has professionally dated the graffiti on rocks around the area?
Who has done a dry sift/wet sift evaluation of the “alter” of Moses?
Was Moses a world class athlete to climb up and down that HUGE mountain over and over?
These are just a few questions of so many.
I’m not actually against the site being real but there are A LOT of things/questions that need to be addressed head on before we really know.
Getting the cart WAY before the horses.
