Any advice on what you used for the ceiling baffle on this? I’m having issues with mine. I used a net, but the tension creates a gap between net and the screen so and ball hits off screen and ricochets up into ceiling or lands on top of the net. I’ve tried a wire cable to keep net tight but won’t work.
We use our ultra-premium 3-layer Eagle impact screen material, a one-piece 2.5” channel aluminum tube that doesn’t sag even at 16 feet wide, and a proper weight bar or tube in a sewn hem at the bottom. It took a lot of trial and error to get the combination of materials right.
I am glad I bump into this video. I have just put up a similar garage door. I was imagining to put up retractable screen just like this video. The side panels are great idea. My purpose to setup a home theater, rather than golf simulator. I play golf but now I may think about turning it into a golf simulator. Do you sell this retractable screen and motor?
Typically we recommend installation of a “minisplit” air conditioner - they’re around $1,200 and another $1,500-$2,000 to install. They will make a garage as comfortable as inside the house. Don’t waste your money on portable AC units (around $300-500) - they’re nowhere near as efficient, barely make a noticeable difference in the temperature, and in our experience stop working after a year or two.
Is this a stealthscreen or a different product? It looks very straight at the top without bowing, which I haven’t seen before at 16’. More product details please. Thx
Terrific video. May I ask How much the entire setup costs, including labor and materials? Also do you know of anyone who does this in South Florida? Thanks - new subscriber.
@@gunghogolf I'm interested in learning more about pricing (for the 9'8" deep on both sides. I'm located in Michigan so I don't know how DIY these are?
Very little useful information here. Would love to install this type of set up in my garage but all i know is that rollers, motors, and a projector is involved with some workout foam tiles….cmon.
Curious about the space between the impact screen and the sides. Can the golf ball sneak through there?
What solution did you come up with to protect the ceiling? Hopefully you will post that video soon. Love this setup so far
It’s been two years. What did y’all do on the ceiling?
@@kylesalone1 Don't sky the ball? Be good at golf?
@@c4n4d4 lol... funny. Not worried about me.. its my shankapotamus friends and kids I am worried about.
Cool solution. The ceiling is kind of low.
Love the set up. Can you share what type of motor you used?
excellent work!
Nice set up...I just sold my full set up..moving to phoenix,
Do any balls break through the corner where the side screens meet the main screeen?

Nicely done. Curious about more info on this build
Do you park the car over the mat?
Great video! How do you make this retractable screen so it always stays stretch out without wrinkles?

Clever
What did you use to weight the bottom of the screen?
wish we had an answer to this
Do balls ricochet off the bottom weight bar in the screen?
This is fantastic,
What is the ceiling height?
And what was the cost on the build out?
No covering between the screen and the side screens.. a stinger to the corner will bust out some drywall.
How much for this set up? Do you or anyone you know provide service in Toronto?
How do you keep the garage cooled off in those hot texas summers?

Who makes the screen? Was it made for golf ball impact?

It's a custom build, with a one-piece 16' long roller tube.

How tall is the ceiling?
How much without PC, projector, monitor? We need some raw numbers. Ballpark at least would be greatly appreciated.
Carls place has what your looking for

Impressive work. I'd like a little more "safety" area... but I suck at golf so.... haha
Thanks James! We sell these retractable systems, and we can make the side screens up to 9'8" deep.
