  • "Exploring God's Own Country: A Kerala Adventure"
Welcome to our Kerala adventure! Join us as we embark on a journey to explore the breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and vibrant traditions of this enchanting state in southern India. Known as "God's Own Country," Kerala is a treasure trove of natural beauty and cultural heritage waiting to be discovered.
Our journey begins in the bustling city of Kochi, where we dive into the fascinating blend of colonial history and modernity. From the iconic Chinese fishing nets at Fort Kochi to the ancient Mattancherry Palace, every corner tells a story of Kerala's past.
Leaving the urban landscape behind, we head to the serene backwaters of Alleppey, where we embark on a traditional houseboat cruise. Drifting along the tranquil waters fringed by lush greenery and swaying palms, we immerse ourselves in the serenity of this idyllic setting.
Next, we venture into the misty hills of Munnar, a paradise for nature lovers. Here, we explore vast tea plantations carpeting the hillsides, visit picturesque waterfalls, and trek through pristine forests teeming with wildlife. The cool mountain air and panoramic views are sure to leave you spellbound.
No visit to Kerala is complete without experiencing its rich cultural heritage. We attend a mesmerizing Kathakali performance, where elaborate costumes and intricate makeup bring ancient stories to life through dance and drama. We also indulge in the exquisite flavors of Kerala cuisine, savoring mouthwatering delicacies like appam, stew, and fish curry.
Our journey culminates in the tranquil beaches of Varkala where we soak up the sun, surf the waves, and unwind amidst the stunning coastal scenery. As the golden sun sets over the Arabian Sea, we reflect on the unforgettable memories and experiences of our Kerala adventure.
We explored the beautiful thekkady, its spice garden, jeep safari and sure for Periyar national park. The trip to Kerala is incomplete without this.
To end we also visited Jatayu rock and India's most richest temple Padmanabhswami Temple.
Join us on this unforgettable journey as we uncover the wonders of "God's Own Country" and discover why Kerala truly is a traveler's paradise. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more travel adventures!

The property we stayed wasn't good to recommend but there are lot of properties and you must book near Periyar national park booking window. Allappey we booked on the spot as our trip was completely unplanned and it was expensive online.

Is it preferable to book rooms in advance or go directly for budget rooms ?

For which place? Munnar book in advance. Thekkady you get easily and Aleppey houseboat, Varkala guesthouse too. Trivandrum book in advance. Peak season me try booking in advance.

Munnar for sure, Aleppey, Periyar national park which is in thekkady, varkala, kovalam, Wayanad and there are many places as Kerala is very beautiful. It depends on your preference and amount of time you have. You can also try visiting Padmanabhswami in Trivandrum.
