I am living in Kerala. I watched this clip and inform that they have beautifully covered all important tourists spots in South Kerala. North is not covered. You can add Thiruvananthapuram also (the capital city) where you can visit the famous Padmanabha swamy temple, very good Zoo/museum and Kovalam beach. Kanyarkumari is about 80 Kms from TVM that can also be covered. Overall a good clip.

As a native who lives in Kerala for the past 26 years, I would recommend August last week - Dec last week for a perfect trip. From January its hot till June - July. Never visit during summer.

Bekal fort is historical fort beach that was built in 16th century. How to get there? Nearest airport is Manglore or Kannur. Get down kanhangad railway station. Just 10 minutes from kanhangad city. Kanhangad city is the largest city of kasaragod district. This city is in middle of kasragod district. There are hills better than Munnaar. . .
