I must say I am a big fan of all things Jones Road - especially the Miracle Balm! But, I am a very natural 61 year old gal with dry skin. I find the products make my skin look quite youthful & fresh. I have almost everything in this line and all of it is my daily go-to! Thank you for your review!!
I have a balm, its awesome, but you really have to break the seal to get the payoff. The top layer is like a clear wax seal and you have to get down to the product.
I am hoping makeup reviewers start to do some research on products before reviewing. It would be nice if they learned how to use the products before actually reviewing them. I had to stop watching when she just swirled her finger around the Miracle Balm and tried to swatch. Bobbi's instructions on breaking the seal have been out for over a year already. How can I watch a reviewer comment on something I actually know more about than they do?
@@danielled5883 yeah that's why I don't think a 1st impression should be a review. Very few people actually use a product more than once then give their review. Like what? You can't tell me how the product truly works from using it one time in one way.
I love Miracle Balm (break the seal). Nice natural and enlivened look. Don’t put it OVER powder. I put it on and add just a touch of translucent powder to set. No tacky feel. And when I took it off-Surpise! My face looked and felt the softest in my life!! Better than any moisturizer. Wanted to wear some Miracle Balm to sleep to get that wonderful bright softness!! This is a product you have to play with which is half the fun.
As a mid-50s dry skin type, I love the WTF foundation. It’s the only foundation I’ve ever used that keeps my skin feeling hydrated throughout the entire day. All other traditional foundations, whether they have alcohol or not, make my skin feel like it’s going to crack and break after 4 hours. This is a miracle product for me. I agree with your evaluation of all the products you tested. Excellent review! The mascara is also incredible!
I was really glad to see you do this because I’m interested in the Jones Road line. I’ll have to think about it after watching your review. I haven’t been here for a while and I forgot how articulate you are and how thoroughly you review things so I appreciate that. I’ll be back.😊👍🏼
I’m 72, with dreadfully dry skin, so I love WTF. I plan to wear this 90% of time, with Chanel No 1 the other 10% for very special occasions. I’ve also ordered the face pencil for dark spots and around my nose, the oil stick for touch ups under the eyes during the day, and the lip tint. I’m also looking forward to ordering some eyeshadows. Of all the several influencers I’ve listened to discussing WTF, yours is the most reasonable. I especially appreciate your nod to those of us who have mature, dry skin. I trust your reviews, and your obv very kind heart.
You're spot on for me with the foundation. I have dry, mature, textured skin and I absolutely love this foundation. It leaves my skin so soft at the end of the day and it wears really well on me. :) thanks for the review!
Thanks for your honest review, Lisa. Whether you like a product or not, you’re always kind and balanced, unlike some of your peers who seem biased and/or bent on reviewing products in a manner just to get clicks.
@@lisajmakeup you have to break the seal on the balm. Bobbi Brown talks about how you push hard into it for the first time to break the seal and then you get tons of color pay off.
I did try Jones Road MB and had the same feelings as you... I am 73, so I have mature skin, and with or without foundation, I found it tacky, so much so that I have to add a finishing powder to keep my hair from sticking to my face. I do love The Best Eyeshadow, it is very flattering and nice on my sensitive eyelids. I wish I had seen your review before purchasing the MB. :) Lovely review...I am a new subscriber.
Lisa, thanks for reviewing this line! I took advantage of their Personal Recommendation Stylist, uploading a photo took in great light that they then reviewed. (I am 51, fair that tans with some creepiness.) The items I purchased following their advice was the balm, 3 concealer sticks, the lip & cheek and 1 eye shadow. (Prior to recent release of foundation). Summation: I do not like face sticks, finding them waxy & dry causing my skin to pull when applying. The shadow was nice, good saturation and stay. The cheek & lip, again, I found dry and waxy however I was using finger tips to blend so I will try your brush application next time. However, the balm…. I agree, little color, but, I use this product as a cheek highlight as you did and if I had a dollar for every time I am complimented when I use it I’d be rich lol… something about it on perhaps (Ahh emm🤔😉) older skin, it just brings a light! There’s my brief review, again thank you for this & All you do for us out here! 💗
The sticks are AWESOME with the foundation. My daughter's friends all ask me what makeup I wear because I look so young and healthy. I'm 35, but they all say I look like a teenager. Lol
Rahmi, not sure if you've heard this by now, but you're supposed to push your finger into the balm to break the seal (the top layer) of the balm. Then you'll get to the pigmented product - there's much more color under there! Hope you're still enjoying it :)
Lisa, thanks for reviewing @jonesroadbeauty. I have been using their products for awhile and several are part of my daily routine. I’m 64 with normal/sometimes dry skin. I’m retired, most days I’m playing golf, working out or running errands. I just want a little help from makeup to look healthy. Face Pencils: been using them for awhile and was surprised when I started reaching for them every day, even as my under eye concealer. Very easy to travel with as well. Miracle Balm: The first time you have to push hard in the middle to break the seal in order to get the product/color. I play around with it depending on what my skin needs. Some days I just use Au Natural with the pencils and a little Dusty Rose on my cheeks. Use the Bronze balm to reduce redness and warm up my complexion. When using regular foundation and powder, I pat Miracle Balm on top if my skin looks a little dry. Mascara: You MUST try the mascara. It is the best. My right eyelashes have never stay curled, but they do with the JR mascara. Also, the mascara doesn’t rub off on my slightly hooded lid like other mascaras. It is easy to remove with cleansing oil. WTF: just received this last week and I’m loving it. Gives my skin a nice healthy finish. It doesn’t rub off on a face mask! I’ve never had to stir WTF. I like the cheek/lip stick, powder eyeshadow and eye liner. The Sparkle Wash is is too glittery for me. I only used it on NYE. Try the Just a Sec eye pots. Sometimes I just use a swipe on Linen or Topaz with my finger on an easy makeup day. I like the Cool Gloss in Pink Gold Shimmer. It looks great on top of BK Beauty Acceptance lipstick😉. I encourage you to play around with her clean products a bit more.
I wholeheartedly agree with your reviews. I would love the foundation and balm if they weren’t so tacky. They go on great and leave a nice dewy look but don’t wear well throughout the day. Can’t wait to try the eye shadow in patina.
I just wore it today for the first time. I look amazing. You just have to use less of it if you have areas that are more oily on your face. And I bought a setting powder to layer lightly on top. This product is worth it, it only took 15 minutes to look beautiful. It asked me several questions to fine-tune my African-American skin. Best Mascara!!
Hey Lisa! I have been waiting for your review on Jones Road! Bobbi Brown has been a huge influence on how I started wearing my makeup years ago, I love her less is more take on applying makeup so I feel like her new line isn’t for people who want full coverage or full face look of makeup. I am pretty sure you have to break the seal on the Miracle Balm by pressing fairly hard to break the top seal, I think it would look good in a darker shade or the bronze shade. I appreciate your honest review and am trying to decide which products I will be ordering.
I love Bobbi Brown, period. She was the first high end foundation I ever splurged on and honestly always go back after trying other ones (Too Faced BTW, Estée Lauder (the discontinued water weight was nice), Armani Luminous Silk, anything NARS (except tinted moisturizer), Laura Mercier, Kosas (oil), IT CC cream - and more - all feel heavy (literally pull the sides of my mouth down) or dry on me, and I can get oily in places so I’m not strictly dry). My holy grail was Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless original foundation that was discontinued (boooo) but now Bobbi Brown serum foundation can’t be beat in my book - I’ve seen oilier people in humid climates say it sits on the skin, but in my dry Colorado climate it sinks in and actually looks less like foundation at the end of the day than the BB Skin foundation. Also love the BB stick foundation. I’m sad she left the company because I feel some limited edition items are lesser quality (biggest example are eyeshadow palettes - I can’t toss them because they will never come back and some of the colors are just so beautiful and unique, but natural - I have one that “expired in 2019 that performs better and is softer than a newer 5 pan palette Stonewashed Nudes palette - still good but not as soft and blendable in my opinion). I only wear BB lipsticks because even CT pillow talk looks muddy on me and nobody does nudes like BB. I really wish they’d bring back 10 year old chocolate brown eyeshadow palettes!
You have to really push down and make an indentation in the balm for it to "open" and give you product; there is actually a nice amount of color if you get into the balm .
I have the Miracle Balm in 2 colors. You have to break the seal to get more color. I love the shadows! The Hippie Stick is amazing everywhere, and the mascara is fabulous!!!!
I really really wanted to love this line! Got my WTF, miracle balm, face pencils and the color stick two days ago and couldn’t wait to try it. I am 65, I have dry skin and very few wrinkles for my age. That being said…after two days of wearing these products, I couldn’t wait to wash them off my face this evening! These products are soooo emollient, and the finish is very sticky. It left me wanting to use powder to set things…my face was so shiny! I like dewy but this is more than dewy. The smell is another problem…I just couldn’t get used to it. It didn’t smell like eucalyptus or anything spa like. It smells somewhat like petroleum to me and when my husband smelled it he said the same. This makeup does not cover flaws, so you pretty much have to have skin that is bone dry and flawless. That is a pretty small group to market to in my opinion. Sending mine back, I’ll stick with Bobbie Brown as I love that line.
Used what the foundation this morning and was so pleased with how it looked and felt. Didn’t last all day but I will use it again. Love the magic hour miracle balm too
i am obsessed with the miracle balms! i personally like a low makeup look and prefer them on my skin with no foundation on. they are my go too every day product to help give me a glow. I own 6 of them and rotate colors. I also love the lip gloss in peony. it is my everyday color! I have combination to slightly dry skin and they work well on me!
I love the colors of the eye products and they look great on you! I'm glad to see a review where the makeup is not being slathered on for exaggeration. It might be worth a look for me.
You have such perfect skin to begin with so I honestly can’t tell a difference between your beautiful skin and after the foundation so I’m thinking anybody that doesn’t have a beautiful clear complexion is not going to benefit from this. I was so looking forward to trying this but with that gross separation and the fact that it doesn’t look like it has any coverage at all makes it a no for me. I don’t like heavy foundation but I do want some coverage! You are absolutely stunning! The fact that the Color range is not very large and the shades don’t tell you whether they’re cool or warm and you can’t purchase it in person makes it another tough choice. I think I’ll just stick with Armani Luminous Silk! Anyone with mature skin will absolutely love this foundation and search for their discount or sign up for their emails because I always purchase anything from Armani beauty with 35 to 40% off. They are always having a sale and like I said the luminous silk is amazing for a light to medium coverage and fabric stretch foundation (I think it’s called) is amazing for a fuller coverage… Medium to full coverage depending on how much you use, but they lay beautifully on the skin and keep your skin moisturized all day!
Thank you for your very thoughtful and honest review! I have been thinking about purchasing some of these products, but your information has helped me to understand that Jones Road probably won’t work for me at this time.😊
Hello my friend Lisa, great review. Thank you 😊 for saving me from purchasing this balm. I have combination skin, & prefer my skin tint/foundation not to be sticky. Like you said, it sounds perfect for dry skin & the no makeup makeup look. I too prefer more coverage & more color from a blush. I really liked the Patina eyeshadow on you. You look gorgeous 😍. Cheers 😉🌷
I just bought the dusty rose bronzer. I haven't got it yet but I'm so excited. So ingenious with all the tan, brown bronzers out there to have a rosey brown one for those of us that can't wear bronzers without them turning orangey or yellowy! She's also OG and rarely gets her 🎉
As someone who has very dry skin, WTF foundation is amazing and it will not be tacky on those of us with dry skin. I use the pencils for concealers and on top of my eyes and to really cover sun damage brown spots. I put it on top after I use the foundation--Porcelain and pencils in 1 and 2. The Miracle Balm is nice to add some color--I agree with the sparkle wash--I use both the cream eye shadow and the powder eye shadow and both are lovely. I have always had very sensitive skin and allergic to alot of things--I used to be able to wear purple eye shadow but it now causes horrific eye swelling--so far I can wear any of Jones Road eye shadow w/o issue and the sparkles have allowed me to be playful again w/ make up. That playfulness went away if eye shadow had red dye.
I got the balm in Flushed and it definitely has more pigment than the one you got....really like it. Love the blush as well. That eye shadow is so pretty, will have to try that.
I was a big Bobbi Brown fan when she owned that brand. I have now purchased most of the Jones Road products and like them. She is definitely a big proponent of a natural beauty look and does not normally creat heavy products. I am in my 40s and the products work well in my skin. It is to bad you did not review the mascara, it is great.
The balm I have and like. You have to "break the seal" and push your finger into it to get to the color. I don't love the slightly sticky feeling but I love the color and shimmer payoff.
Thank you for the review! The foundation looks really interesting texture-wise and your eyes look beautiful. Love the patina color. Not sure I am really interested in the rest of the products. I have been curious about this line so I really appreciate your honesty.
I enjoyed seeing all the other products and your opinion. I didn't realize there were more options than the make up itself. You're the first I've seen so far that showed us the other items. When you had to stir it I was done. Lol Thank you, Lisa.
Hi Friend! I love your reviews and always look forward to them. This is my first time weighing in with a comment. I purchased The Best Pencil, two of the face pencils, and the Miracle Balm in Dusty Rose a few months ago. I whole heartedly agree with your review. I am not using the face pencils because I don’t feel they provide great coverage and the brown eye pencil is fine, but basic. I think the Miracle Balm works as a subtle highlighter on a no makeup day, but on my fair, mature skin It doesn’t offer enough benefits for me to repurchase. I wanted to like the products because I am such a Bobbi Brown fan and I bought them to support her latest venture. I admire her for creating a new, clean beauty line and I hope that as the brand evolves there will be products that might work for me.
Ditto! You have to press your finger down hard enough to dig a hole and then use what’s under the seal. The balm will actually give you a similar color payoff if you press your finger in hard to cause the product to eke out around your finger.
I knew You had NOT broke the Seal, when You dug your fingernail into the Product Miracle Balm… I Enjoyed Your Opinion. But Lisa, You Enjoy a Full Coverage, w/Heavier color. Yet, You look good, w/less Make-Up!! Thank You 🙏🏼 for applying the Makeup. I Enjoyed watching your application of the different kinds You choose for Yourself… Interesting!!! 😊
for me, trying to buy foundation over the internet is really risky and the Jones Road colors recommended to me dont look at all like anything I would choose. And it is WAY too expensive for me to just take a chance sight unseen.
I have been a Bobbi Brown fan going way back. I appreciate your review as this cosmetics line of hers often lands in my Instagram ads. Like you, I am not a fan of makeup I can feel on my face. However, I also don’t like makeup with fragrance and prefer unscented.
I have tried all of the same products as well as others. I am 51 with normal to dry skin. I wanted to love it, but I don’t reach for it and I won’t repurchase. I really wanted to love the balm, but I really dislike the scent and feel on the skin. I really tried!!
Thanks for all your podcasts, Lisa. Really enjoy them! On Miracle Balm, podcasts that I have seen tell us to break the kinda hard film on the top of product in order to get product out. If you will go back and do this you will get the true product color!👄💃
Thanks for your review on this line! Could you try the foundation with a finger application and let us know if there’s a difference? It seems like it would melt more into the skin with the warmth of your fingers. And like others mentioned, you have to “break the seal” of the miracle balm to activate the color more, though it is meant to be a sheer product.
Yes, I think the foundation would blend well with fingers. I found them to be consistent with how they are marketed, sheer and natural... for me the textures felt a bit too sticky. Even if I got more color from the balm, I prefer a lighter feel on my skin
I tried the base products out like this and am liking the results so far: dotted the foundation on with my fingers and rubbed gently in, like a moisturizer. I even applied a little under my eyes. Then I went in with the face pencils under my eye and any area that needed more coverage. The result was like my skin but better. I didn’t use a primer underneath and so far so good. If I touch my face I can still feel the moisture, but I have combo-dehydrated skin, so I know by the end of the day, my skin will absorb most of it.
I’d prefer foundations in tube to squeeze out or bottles with a pump for two reasons: 1) You can shake them up to blend the ingredients, 2) I loathe dipping my hands into jars. To me it’s not hygienic (no matter that it has preservatives to combat bacteria) and jars are messy, especially to travel with.
Hello my friend 👋🏼, okay I have to have the Patina eyeshadow. It is gorgeous on you 😍. Thank you for your honest review of Jones Road Beauty products. Cheers 😉 🌷
Great review. You have to break the seal on that miracle balm and that color will be gorgeous on you. I feel like they should print “break the seal” on the packaging since it’s not intuitive. My favorite products are the miracle balms, shadows, lip gloss and mascara. Thank you for sharing!
I had not been to a makeup counter since Covid and decided to treat myself. The Au Natural balm feels so good on my 64 yr old skin. It doesn't seem tacky at all. I live in a dry climate with no humidity so that might make a bit of a difference. This gives me an idea of some colors and products I would love to try.I do wish I had gone straight for a toned balm but ordered a Magic Hour to see what I end up with. I wish they showed more of the colors on more models but oh well. Thanks for all the product reviews! Now how to pay for them!?!
If you haven’t tried it, I think you might like Charlotte Tilbury’s Eyes to Mesmerize in the color Champagne in place of the sparkle shadow that didn’t apply evenly. It doesn’t have any big pieces of sparkle, it’s a perfectly whipped wonder that leaves the nicest shimmer-just a wash during the day-or is buildable for eye-catching sparkle in the evening. It blends well with other shadows, too. Just a thought! 🙂
I really use minimal makeup. I do love the Miracle Balm. I don't use a foundation. So I use the Miracle Balm directly on the skin. I have all colors (I think). I layer them and do use them on the eyes, lips, and face. I agree it is a bit tacky and also depends on how you apply it. But, my face has never, ever been so soft and I give all the credit to the Miracle Balm. The lip tint is also very nice. The only Jones Road product I have used that I don't love is the lip gloss.
I love the WTF. I’m 57 and I just use it with a little concealer (and eye makeup etc if I’m going out) and it works so well for me. I hate full coverage though, and this reminds me of the Bobbi Brown Tinted SPF25 balm which got discontinued and so it’s a great replacement.
I am so glad you posted this! I worked for BB years ago and remember the tinted balm well and was wondering how they would compare. At the time, it was too light coverage for me but might work now. I do wish it was a wee bit more. Thank you!
@@melindam6887 They are very close. I wonder if BB, the brand, discontinued it because BB herself wanted it for her new range and so didn’t want anything similar in BB - if that makes sense. Similar smell (which I love) and makes my skin look better without covering it. I remember seeing Lisa Eldridge use the old balm on a woman of 60 or so and said she always used it in nature skin. Works for me at any rate. Don’t need moisturiser underneath - just sunscreen for me as I think the ba had spf25 and this doesn’t. Not full coverage at all but neither was the balm.
With the Balm, you are supposed to stick your finger straight down in the middle to break the seal and then apply from there versus off of the top. I disliked that because it made it less pretty ;-). and I still, I found the balm to be a bit heavy.
Lisa, exactly. What are you wearing on your lips? They look absolutely gorgeous please detail what you use. I’m sure other people would love to know, also. ❤
Cool! I have been very curious about this brand! Thanks for reviewing! Being 55, I am always looking out for better foundation that covers everything and looks natural. I'd love a nice glow too!! Is that too much to ask?!
I think on your skin this make up was beautiful, especially your face. It looks very flattering on you! This is obviously on camera with full lights and filters, not natural daylight (may be start doing natural daylight wear tests). And with the miracle balm you need to press crush it with your finger to release the pigment. And it’s hygienic if you wash your hands first.
Tiny amount of coconut oil makes the balm spread easily, instead of tugging on the skin, or patting down. It still has to melt. I guess one could use moisturizer, this is what worked for me, without any foundation.
This was helpful. These products seem to be a fight from start to finish. Maybe 1 or 2 star products but over all, I have what I want to achieve this type of look without spending more. I have dark spots and I am not interested in a face pencil that cannot cover that up. I am also not excited for a pot of separated balm but I think it has a market and is much less expensive than Chantecaille. I am a big fan of Bobbi as an artist. I wish it was a knock out of the park.
using the balm you have to break the seal first then rub it on hand to warm it up (gets the color working) ... Bobbi has a video on her site showing you everything to do and how to wear it
I was wondering if you would like the balm better if you break the seal. I would love if you would try it again and let us know. It looks like a really pretty color in the jar.
hi, i have dry skin and from India - i picked this balm and did not know how to use it before or after foundation - your video was helpful and the balm can be used in so many ways , thanks
If you watch Bobbi Browns video on the Jones Road balms...she explains how to use them and what they are supposed to look like on your face. Bobbi also explains that you have to break the seal on the bones to be able to get the product on your finger.
I'm wondering how I know how to use the products but the reviewer hasn't researched it enough to know how to use them? Seems like an unfair review to me...
I really don't relish the idea of having to stir the face balm/"foundation" every time I use it, surely that's unhygienic! How does the Miracle Balm function on eyelids if it doesn't dry down? Even with more pigment, I wouldn't want this product on my cheeks - I imagine my hair sticking to it, yuk!! As a big fan of Bobbi Brown back in the day, I really want to love these products but, unfortunately, I don't. I truly appreciate you reviewing these (and all the other products), it saves me wasting my money - zero returns in the UK. Thank you so much Lisa 💓 Love you loads 💗💗💗💗💗
@@yourerightimwrong4567 Shake the pot which contains the balm/foundation??? I don't think shaking the pot is a good idea unless it (the pot) can be left for some time, allowing the contents to "fall" from the interior of the lid back into the pots cavity. Even then, I suspect, that the surface of the lids interior would require a tool to scrape the remaining balm/foundation back into the pot. All this kinda negates shaking as an alternative mixing method to stirring. I just don't understand why Miss Bobbi didn't utilise a tube as a way of housing/dispensing this product, doing so would have simplified things so much and kept the contents as hygienic as possible. xx
@@chrissymoss514 The package states to keep the separate lid, though. Similar to Chantecaille. It's so oily that it goes down very well. Just tried it. 😉 Don't know what people have against washing their hands really well before putting on their makeup. I personally wipe down my cosmetics with a solution and wash my brushes after every use.
Very good video! Agree with other comments on mature skin, I am going to give these products a try. Wish you would have broken the seal to which is demonstrated on social media. That would have released the full breadth of color. I don’t understand why young women with beautiful skin feel a need for heavy coverage.
Lisa J, you beautifully apply and share so honestly. 💕 TY. As one who is 12 years into menopause at age 55 and wants natural and safe ingredients, I'm so wishing I lived near their stores to be able to more easily try products and not ship them back and forth.
I love the balm. You have to break the seal to use it. It really leaves a nice color and pretty highlight.
I absolutely appreciate your level of attention to detail. Thank you.
I have the Miracle Balm in 2 colors. You have to break the seal to get more color. I love the shadows! The Hippie Stick is amazing everywhere, and the mascara is fabulous!!!!
I love the colors you’ve chosen…they suit you so well.
I had the same experience - so annoying and disappointing!
I love how. thorough you are with each product. You really gave good information to make better informed decisions. Thank you!
Thank you for the demo of these products. It was informative 👍
Used what the foundation this morning and was so pleased with how it looked and felt. Didn’t last all day but I will use it again. Love the magic hour miracle balm too
Just placed an order for 6 products and I'm already eyeing several more. This is right up my allet. The no makeup look is perfec for me.
i am obsessed with the miracle balms! i personally like a low makeup look and prefer them on my skin with no foundation on. they are my go too every day product to help give me a glow. I own 6 of them and rotate colors. I also love the lip gloss in peony. it is my everyday color! I have combination to slightly dry skin and they work well on me!
I’m hoping it can be like Glossier Skin Tint but better :)
This line would be perfect for a vacation when you want to look good but not 'made up'. Super excited to try it!
I've been waiting on THIS!
I love the colors of the eye products and they look great on you!
I'm glad to see a review where the makeup is not being slathered on for exaggeration. It might be worth a look for me.
Thank you Chandra!
Great review Lisa, liked how comprehensive you were. Well done, very helpful👏. Thanks!💕
I really appreciate your review of Jones Road. I will be buying the Patina eyeshadow for sure.
I have been thinking about purchasing some of these products, but your information has helped me to understand that Jones Road probably won’t work for me at this time.😊
The Loreal Balm doesn't separate and goes on so nicely.
Cheers 😉🌷
Oh the foundation is so pretty!
Thank you for keeping us company !
I just bought the dusty rose bronzer. I haven't got it yet but I'm so excited. So ingenious with all the tan, brown bronzers out there to have a rosey brown one for those of us that can't wear bronzers without them turning orangey or yellowy! She's also OG and rarely gets her 🎉
Thank you for your honest review, I ended up decluttering the Miracle Balm, the pencil is good, good idea for your bag. Thanks!
Good morning, Lisa ❤️. I love how kind & honest your product reviews are. I've not heard of this brand. Thank you for sharing it with us.
You are so welcome!
Thanks for sharing Heather! I should have ordered the mascara! I saw it had great reviews.
The balm I have and like. You have to "break the seal" and push your finger into it to get to the color. I don't love the slightly sticky feeling but I love the color and shimmer payoff.
Having to stir a foundation before each use might come across as "rustic", but to me it translates as botched stability testing.
They may not use any typical stability ingredients since they are credo
Stir? Why not shake it?
If you’re not used to ‘clean’ beauty then I understand why you’d think that
Thank you for the review!
Bobbi says you have to break the seal on the Miracle Balm. I have it in every color. It's lovely.
Great Make up tutorial!!🥳
I have just about all the Miracle balms except for Tawny and golden hour! I love em!!😄
I Love Bobbi Brown products. So this really intrigues me. Thank you!! 💖😊
I have been waiting for this - ty!!!!!
Thank you for your video showing and describing your experience with ‘Jones Road ‘ products✅
My favorite product from this brand is their mascara. You look great the products look beautiful on you.
I like that it’s a clean alternative and I’m anxious to try. I think it would be a great option for my mature skin. Thanks Lisa.
I love the Jones Road blushes. My skin is 63-years-old. It really helps my skin. Love it!
I have been a Bobbi Brown fan going way back. I appreciate your review as this cosmetics line of hers often lands in my Instagram ads. Like you, I am not a fan of makeup I can feel on my face. However, I also don’t like makeup with fragrance and prefer unscented.
Hi Miss Lisa I ordered the Miracle Balm in dusty rose.Cant wait to get my new pkg in the mail.I plan on ordering the sparkle wash too.
Make sure to mix it really well for a few minutes until it becomes super creamy! You're going to love it!
I have tried all of the same products as well as others. I am 51 with normal to dry skin. I wanted to love it, but I don’t reach for it and I won’t repurchase. I really wanted to love the balm, but I really dislike the scent and feel on the skin. I really tried!!
at this point they need to offer free shipping on the Jones Road website. I am not sure I want to spend $50 on this foundation.
Thank you for doing the review, you look beautiful!
Thanks for all your podcasts, Lisa. Really enjoy them! On Miracle Balm, podcasts that I have seen tell us to break the kinda hard film on the top of product in order to get product out. If you will go back and do this you will get the true product color!👄💃
That won't change the sticky, gooey texture. It's some weird, over-priced stuff.
Ohhh wow. Mine did not come like that. I am in love with the Wtf foundation. Can’t wait to try the miracle balm.
Thanks for the review. I am going to get the foundation for my mature skin. Just want a natural look. Btw you look great without makeup ❤
Hello my friend 👋🏼, okay I have to have the Patina eyeshadow. It is gorgeous on you 😍. Thank you for your honest review of Jones Road Beauty products. Cheers 😉 🌷
I would love to see how you do your brows. How you shape them, color them etc.
Great review. You have to break the seal on that miracle balm and that color will be gorgeous on you. I feel like they should print “break the seal” on the packaging since it’s not intuitive. My favorite products are the miracle balms, shadows, lip gloss and mascara. Thank you for sharing!
I have watched Bobbi brown using the balm and I was confused on why I would want to use it. After watching you use it I am still confused.
Thank you so very much Lisa, I really appreciate this review?
That shadow! Amazing!
Hi Lisa, you need to press and break the seal of the balms to get the color.
I appreciate this bc I’ve been so tempted to try it but don’t want to waste money if it’s not worth it!
I take back weekday I said. This looks nice on you. I saw a few videos but it was showing no color payoff at all none. Thanks
Agree. Even if I got more color, it was the texture I didn't love.
Bobbi demonstrates that you meet to (kind of aggressively) break the seal on the Balm before applying it.
FIRST! HI LISA!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bobbi has a video on her site showing you everything to do and how to wear it
You have a great vibe. Love your videos.
I was wondering if you would like the balm better if you break the seal. I would love if you would try it again and let us know. It looks like a really pretty color in the jar.
Love this review!! And watching your channel. Where did you get your top?? Love it
hi, i have dry skin and from India - i picked this balm and did not know how to use it before or after foundation - your video was helpful and the balm can be used in so many ways , thanks
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching and commenting. Have a lovely day!
Thank you so much Lisa 💓
Love you loads 💗💗💗💗💗
Love you back Chrissy!!!
Shake it?
@@yourerightimwrong4567
Shake the pot which contains the balm/foundation???
Would love to see some more powder eyeshadow shades, they are colors I think are beautiful.
Lisa J, you beautifully apply and share so honestly. 💕 TY. As one who is 12 years into menopause at age 55 and wants natural and safe ingredients, I'm so wishing I lived near their stores to be able to more easily try products and not ship them back and forth. Most of us don't have access amounts of funds for makeup, although I know we all do splurge from time to time. What are your comparisons for Seint makeup?
Hi there. Thank you for this video. It is so helpful in making my choices to try from this line which I’ve been eager to try. Also, could you please share where to purchase the gorgeous earrings and necklace(s) you have on here? Thank you!
