A favourite topic of mine is why the R1250R is so much cheaper than the R12 nineT (as it was with the previous R nineT). Here in the UK the base price of the R1250R is 14.5 % cheaper than the R12 nineT. The water cooled engine has of course much better performance figures than the oil cooled engine but I don’t like the sound or the aesthetics of the water cooled boxer. If I had to describe the overall looks of the R1250R in one word it would be brutal. I don’t dislike it but I prefer more traditionally styled machines 🇬🇧
i do a lot of commuting from home to work and i ride every single day with just a few long trips in a year. currently i ride 2018 Honda nc750x. i want to upgrade to BMW r1250gs/GSA.According to my riding style and from your experience, which one (gs or Gsa) i should go for?! Greetings from Uganda.
@@MrCommuterUG256 for commuting the gs is definitely better as the gsa becomes a bit of a bus after time. So it all really depends how much you tour long distances …….
I loved this video, have one of these bikes and I love it, you have explained exactly why i love it, thanks
Brilliant vid. I enjoyed every minute of it.
@@johnbostrom8467 thank you so much 🙏

Love the power and torque figures but, sorry, I have never been a boxer motor fan. I'll stick with my 1050 Triumph
