The best tip is probably the deck tracker. It can help a ton with not having to remember what you’ve already played and what you still have left in the deck. Crafting decks instead of legendaries is also an excellent tip though. Thanks for the video.
One often mistake people do is thinking wild is expensive when in fact it is not, you can play standard decks and do well in wild. At the moment all T1 decks in wild are pretty cheap. If you plan on switching to wild I would advise you to open just 10 packs of each wild expansion just to get guaranteed legendary, only packs worth opening more than 10 would be kobolds and catacombs and knights of the frozen throne. For all other sets just craft cards you need for a deck you want to play. If you need more info on transitioning to wild I advise you to check out Solem.
Indeed. Maybe I am a bit biased because it wasn't always like that, but overall, for a new player it would be easier to understand the standard meta faster, since there are a lot less cards to learn in there :)

Actually if your deck collection is full you can still import decks without deleting existing ones by going into existing deck in your collection of the same class and it will ask if you want to replace it with the deck from clipboard

I'll add 1 tip and 1 confirmation: 1/ You can unlock Wild Mode by going to the blizzard store (on their website) and clicking on "Claim Free" for each free solo adventure linked to Wild sets (they haven't added that to the in-game store). For now, Kobolds gives you the original Dungeon Run PVE mode, and Frozen Throne gives you the Lich King thing, which gives you packs and also a free Death Knight Legendary card. 2/ Yes, the initial 10-pack pity timer also works for Wild sets if you haven't opened any legendary from them yet. Beyond that, I wouldn't actually recommend beginners to disenchant any Wild cards, especially not great legendaries like their free Death Knight. In the long run, it's much more expensive and tedious to keep up with Standard rotation than to build upon your Wild collection. Cheers!
My tip is take your time to learn as much cards and deck as possible and dont give up if you stuck in rank 20 you can get to 5 in one season like i did just be patient and you will get there!

Dusting cards guide.I dust cards only when it's rotating wild / nerfed / moved to HoF, then I craft golden copies for profit. I disenchanted golden Small-time buccaneer, after opening, that mistake costed me 700 dust.
Hi Kris ! On PC 'Spacebar' is the key to open packs. If you press it continuously it will open cards in pack and again open another first pack in your pack list. I hope all experienced players knew this key... For new comers...... Enjoy...
Keep 2 of your quest slots with quests for the lunar new year event, so you can reroll them for the special gold and dust quests once the event goes live
My favorite tip is that you get a free legendary for the first 10 packs of each campaign (classic, dragons, etc.) and then showed how you can check. That tip optimizes my purchasing decisions which translates to cash.

yeah, it's quite powerful that whole section, you can filter in all sorts of ways. You can even type in the search bar attack:1 or 5 etc, has:summon and all sorts of cool stuff :) Might do a video on it at some point :P

I'm a new wild player and it's not hard to get into.. the ONLY wild packs you should buy are frozen throne and kobolds.. because the majority of those cards are still used alot

Correcting you that you are wrong... If you never opened any packs from the Wild sets in the past (even before they rotated) first 10 packs will give you a legendary even for wild packs...

Here's my beginner tip: Don't make a deck of ALL TAUNTS. When you're new to the game your initial thought may be, "If a few taunts are good then ALL taunts must be great!" It's not.

Keep every legendary until they are wild only, but then don't disenchant the ones good in wild, in case you want to ever play. This was my very costly mistake and now I'm recrafting all kinds of shit.
Unfortunately most of those tips are useless unless blizzard change the matchmaking to put returning players against new players cause in essence they are the same at least in "collection power" sense. Whatever deck you make as a returning player you will be match up against veteran players that have the newest card (Standard ) if you play wild is the same thing. In the end a returning players does not have the necessary card to play standard or wild not because of the cards itself but because the matchmaking. That is not my opinion is just how the game works
the matchmaking is based on MMR. That is why I was playing vs people with Golden card backs as soon as bronze :) The golden card back is only recieved by people who have made high finishes on tournaments, so it's much more powerful than the legendary card back :)
@@KrisOFiveHearthstone yeah and this is not an atack at the video tips...but if you play wild, you craft a great deck...a new expantion gets out...and you sometimes add a common or a rare card and thats it...the trick is really liking the deck...for me its highlander mage/reno...but yes meta change, but you can always adapt a bit atleast in my experience so yeah take what I said with a grain of salt 😁 cheers

Whatever deck you make as a returning player you will be match up against veteran players that have the newest card (Standard ) if you play wild is the same thing. In the end a returning players does not have the necessary card to play standard or wild not because of the cards itself but because the matchmaking. That is not my opinion is just how the game works
the matchmaking is based on MMR. That is why I was playing vs people with Golden card backs as soon as bronze :) The golden card back is only recieved by people who have made high finishes on tournaments, so it's much more powerful than the legendary card back :)

@@KrisOFiveHearthstone yeah and this is not an atack at the video tips...but if you play wild, you craft a great deck...a new expantion gets out...and you sometimes add a common or a rare card and thats it...the trick is really liking the deck...for me its highlander mage/reno...but yes meta change, but you can always adapt a bit atleast in my experience so yeah take what I said with a grain of salt 😁 cheers
