Pressed LIKE before even watching. Sinatra is my favorite entertainer ever. As a big Sinatra historian, I’m a happy to say you got your facts right. Kudos! I have a bottle of that Jack that I refuse to open. Ha! Great job!! 🥃 🎙🎩
Thank, Vino! That means a lot, we did a lot of research and we're all huge fans of his as well. And I'm really happy to show you the satisfaction of opening this beautiful bottle of whiskey! Whenever you feel tempted, just come and check out the video again, ha! 😉
Man, even if I'm too lazy to make all of the preparations for those fancy cocktails, these videos are really entertaining to watch. The presentation and the shots are very pleasing, great stuff.
Great cocktail! I would love to get my hands on one of those Jack bottles! ...love that subtle drink raise gesture from the Sinatra picture! Haha! Great editing as always!
Thank you Rob! This Jack is something special, just like Mr. Frank was. Haha It was great tasting with him!

I was introduced to music of Mr. Frank at a young age and I must say that this was and still is the music to my ears! Loved every second of shooting and editing this video!
He really was an amazing entertainer and just having his record playing during the breaks, while we were shooting, his presence could be felt in the room. Awesome day and a great end result. Thanks for your hard work, Sašo!
I made a lovely bitters using the artichoke leaves as my bittering.... Using all sorts of home grown herbs, and spices as well as the choke leaf(all dried first) it turned out very elegant. I find playing with flavours amazing!
Same here! I really enjoy listening to his music. There is an alternative for sous vide - you can infuse the artichoke in vermouth at room temperature. In this case you will have to wait for a couple of days. But if you will sous vide an avocado, you will get a totaly different result, so I'm sure about that one!
I listen to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin almost every night to wind down after work before dinner. What a fantastic video you've made in celebration of him. Well done. Happy New Year! Kindly, Theresa
The King of Cool is also great! For this year's birthday, Sašo gave me a vinyl of one of Dean's albums. I listen to it all the time! Thank you. I am glad that you like it.
Every time I see one of these videos it blows my mind that you don't have millions of subs! Not yet anyway! Brilliant video, perfectly shot and so incredibly informative!
Haha sorry about that! But it really is an awesome tool to have, there's no other way to achieve such precision for infusions. Oh and it's pretty cool for cooking as well.
I probably won't be making this one, but I have to comment to say keep it up! I love your videos, the quality and attention to detail is amazing. It's clear you put a lot of work into your videos
Thanks George, that means a lot! I really do appreciate you not only checking out the videos but also commenting for support, even if the drink isn't down your alley. Or avenue, since it's a Manhattan. :)
I had no idea that’s what happens with artichokes and our taste buds, so apart from a great tribute to Frank, you’re also spreading the culinary knowledge :) I’m figuring I could leave the artichokes to macerate for a couple of days because I don’t have a Sous Vide, and I have Dolin Rouge so I’m going to try it out with that, wondering if you chose the Carpano Antica for a specific flavour note though that elevates the drink?
Yes, it's an interesting fact indeed! The Drunken Botanist book is really great for learning anything about the botanicals in our spirits. Yes you could do that as well, but I think that heating the artichokes just give a different taste to the vermouth. I have never tried to macerate it fresh though. I would be more than happy to hear from your experience. Dolin Rouge should work great as well. I like Antica F. because of its characteristic warm spices flavours, that goes so well with bourbon, rye or Tennessee whiskey in that matter. Thanks for your comment and I am looking forward to your results. Cheers!
My question is what did you do with the artichoke after you sous vide it? That would have been a beautifully soft sweet vermouth infused vegetable that would paired wonderfully with the filet mignon.
This looks amazing! I think this is the cocktail that will finally push me to buy a Sous Vide. On that note, do you have any recommendations for buying a Sous Vide? Any favorite brands?
Haha sous vide is really great. We will use it a lot in this channel so it's better sooner than later. I don't have any favorite brand. Mine is from Hofer/Aldi and it really suited my needs just nice. Thank you Rohan!
@@KevinKos Ah! I was so far off. Sorry. That's very interesting. You should do a video on how you got into cocktails. Do you live in Slovenia still? Your production crew sounded American as I recall - if you're in the U.S. I'd definitely enjoy a video about how you got here, why, what got you into cocktails, etc. Thanks for replying.
You are not simply making great cocktails, you even travel to the future, since your infusion is made on 12.12.2020, when the video was released on the 10th of december 2020.
haha great observing! Because on 12th is the birthday of Mr. Sinatra, so we thought that it's only right to write down his date on the vermouth made in his honor. Thanks!
What's your favorite Frank Sinatra song? 🎙
“Angel Eyes”
It’s Frank’s greatest saloon song. We’ve all been the man in that song at some point in our lives. 🥃
Favorite song would be "Fly me to the moon" but i also love the version of "My Way" sung with Luciano Pvarotti!
Ever since the shooting of this episode I can't get "The best is yet to come" out of my head. Such a catchy tune!
A woman in love, Guys and dolls 1955❤️🥂
This one is hard. Each and every song is something special!

Thanks David! I always try to do it that way 😃 am glad that you like it!
I love Frank Sinatra, the king of musicians in my opinion. I'm sure he would have been very pleased with both of these cocktails. Cheers!
I would be more than happy to make him one 😃. He is still one of the best for sure!

I heard someone say that the connoisseurs of whiskey serve it by slowly pouring it over ice cubes till the ice is cracking.
This might have been Frank's way but for me a Manhattan has to be made with Rye Whiskey.
Ok

This Jack isn't Rye Whiskey. It is mostly corn, but I saw that Jack released rye's types as well. I haven't tried them yet though.
