probably just a couple hundred bucks for the paint. rent a pressure washer from Home Depot. the bad thing is the time it’ll take you to do it.

what is the painting per sq footage rate in Idaho? & how much does a gallon of that stain cost?
Hi again! I need to do this to my garage floor. It looks like a large rust stain on my floor. Can I just paint over it or should I do something to the surface first? thanks again
I would use some CLR on it. After you remove most of the rust I would neutralize the cleaning agent with a water vinegar mix. Don't use to much CLR though. You don't want to leave residential chemicals behind.

I did this on my back patio this summer, I'm very impressed with the results but wish I did a second coat. I primmered before first coat but a second coat would have really covered all the minor imperfections. BUY A GOOD PRODUCT!

I can't see that holding up in toronto weather. 8 months of rain,snow and salt.
How long will that paint last before it starts peeling off?
It’s not paint . It doesn’t peel. It’s a stain. If you surface prep correctly and apply the product as per manufacturer recommendations it will only fade or slightly discolor over time. Possibly needing refresher coats to renew its look.
If your vehicle drips oil or antifreeze it will take on that stain on top of your surface .
If you have a messy tree that drops leaves, sap, and other organics it too will leave a stain. It’s not a paint so it won’t wipe clean.
why did you apply the 2nd coat in the opposite direction? Im just curious as to what the reason is and If it affects anything. Thank you for your time Chris and Thank you for sharing.
going the oppoosite direction prevents missing some, its more likely you get an even coat.
I want to stencil a pattern onto concrete blocks. Should I stain first, or paint? And, is it possible to use a paint over a stain? I want to do whatever will last.
the stain product is it like some sort of 2 component product, you got an A and an B product mixed together? how is the end result? hard surface? i did 2 huge floors in garabage rooms with a 2 component product, damn that was rock solid afterwards, didnt even use a brush or roller. used a hard squeegie :D

What if you have a driveway that's not smooth and perfect like that one?
Roller usually takes care of it, otherwise you could do resurfacing beforehand, or go over missed areas with a brush

How long does it last before retouching it up?
Had a low spot in the patio and used self leveling concrete to level it, but it now shows color different from the rest of area. Will this painting fully cover it and produce uniform looking for the patio?

I have also thought about doing this to my driveway however I have always been worried about what the driveway will look like after winter and what my snow shovel will do to the stain. Especially after the snow that we had last year here in the Boise area. Any thoughts on that? Thank you.

U make it look so easy. No matter what I do it never seems even or there are roller marks...guess that's y u are pros
Yeah I'm thinking I will probably just hire somebody to do mine, or leave it. I poured some concrete for a patio in my backyard and I use some charcoal color just for the surface, It looks all right but wondering if a new layer by a pro would be worth it. I really don't want to spend a ton of money on it If I can use that money elsewhere.
I got a feeling its gonna peel and show 2 different colors over time.

Its not a paint. Its a stain stains do not flake or chip it absorbs deep into the pouros cement
I note it will not bond to oil stains and needs to be recounted each year to maintain the look. Will it impact adhesion of tiles if we decided to tile further down the track? (I suspect that will be the case)
Can you do it on concrete pool decks??

I have 2000 square feet of drive way and walkway. It has a 15 year old concrete resurfacer that is all popping up. Paint is the cheapest fix, but I need to grind the resurfacer off first.

I have a question maybe you can answer. I have an EIFS insulated house. Can I stain eifs to bring a little color to my house?
This looks like more of a coating than a stain ...Stained concrete is a lot more involved

why not spray it on wouldnt you get better coverage? When I did mine the 1 gal didnt go far at all the concrete absorbed the stain resulting having to buy more.. What about sealing the concrete first?
Just got a new cement driveway put in. The guy really screwed up the stain! How long do I need to wait before etching and staining myself? (I was told 1 day and 30 days from someone else!)

What is the durability of a product like this? Also, how well does it hold up to hot tires? Does it clean up well? Do you have any pics of after, say, a year or more?
I'm interested in doing something like this, but worry about having it look bad after awhile, whether by wear (through or peeling) or discoloration.
It has great durability, and has held up well for us. We have not had any issues with it, it has provided a good quality finished product

If Half the driveway was done recently and the other half was done years ago, and has a different color, Will the entire driveway have the same color after staining it?

How do u avoid roller lines when using a solvent based product? And if rolling over a sprayed texture should u prime first so I doesnt suck up the stain so quickly?
very cool... I have this ugly concrete on the side of my house, near the beach.. I hate it.. It's got a big crack in it.. can I ask you how to get rid of the crack??? HELP... I also want to build a firepit, because the area is very big.. and i think that would add a nice touch... what are your thoughts.......
