The concept of the fold over page is for those that might not have a paper trimmer and lets them participate in a layout project . Melissa is the best!!!
The fold over technique is different things to different people. The one she shows here is folding the paper over to see the other side on your page. The other way is to fold the paper over and put extra photos on the underside. Either way is a “fold over” to use whichever way you choose.
That makes sense & I tbought it would be a flip up flap, too. But, i usually put my pages in protectors, so it wouldn't work, unless I cut out the top of the protector.

Exactly Jenn!
I love this creative way to use some patterned paper for a great 2 page layout. Thanks for sharing x
Nice layout and great technique tip? TFS
The pages are beautiful.
These pages are absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you I love more ideas.
I love this! Thank you so much Melissa. Is there someplace we can get a copy of the sketch to download?
Did you notice the printed paper with the green background is direction on the design side? Really stands out.
What size photos/mats are these??
You can make the squares whatever size you need, but I would try 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ for an exact measurement!
Might want to tell the measurements of mats
Did you ever find out what the measurements of the mat were?
No unfortunately
Where can I get a copy of this sketch. I would like to show this layout at crop that I'm vending for in Jan. Thanks much
Hi Kristine! You can find the sketch here - blog.creativememories.com/2020/04/16/worldwide-virtual-crop-2020-challenge-1/

Thanks Ella, you are totally right!

Being an Advisor, you'd think I wouldn't worry about using a lot of paper... But why not just trim the paper instead of doubling over?
I was thinking the exact same thing!
