Although you may argue that you were trying to play a reverse-Hawk-jinx by focusing on UCLA's strengths and the hurdles of traveling. I think you haven't broken down those stats very well Cory. For one, we haven't won the rose bowl Man times, why because the big ten under the old affiliation was supposed to be pac 10 big ten champs, the problem was our champion it seems was mostly going for National champ. So the big was always pushed to a higher bowl than their place should be. I remember many years of the big ten playing much higher ranked teams. The next thing you need to look at is UCLAs rush D, they haven't played anyone as good as Iowa in the run game. As such they have a better rank than maybe they deserve. We'll find out Friday night. I don't know what kind of pass D they have been up against but I think Sully is a better passer than we know. Once he's in game face he seems to improve a bunch. That's what gets everyone on the team fired up. I'm hoping for a comfortable win and another notch for Kirk. That's my take now let's go Hawks.
