Steam lets you launch non-steam games, so this isn't really a way of downloading the game from a different store. The only way to download a game from a different store is to buy it from that store unfortunatly. So, if you wanted to download it from epic you'd have to buy it on the epic games store.

From my experience with epic Games, they only support xbox one and xbox 360 controllers atm. If you're using a steam link, you'll have to connect your controller to your desktop via bluetooth. If you want to use a PS controller you can look into a software called DS4Windows, it will emulate playstation controllers to look like xbox 360 one. This is also helpful for playing older games.
@@angeleslabonair so recently i had a issue where even with DS4 installed steam was detecting the ps4 and the xbox controller emulated through ds4. Check the controller settings in steam and see if thats the case. if so look at DS4Windows guide on how to hide the controller

As for your issue, I'm not entirely sure. Hard to troubleshoot something over a youtube comment. I'd say restart your computer launch both steam and epic games. Turn on and connect your controller. Check in the steam controller settings and make sure it sees only a xbox 360 controller. Then launch the game from steam and see if your controller works. Also make sure the games you're playing supports a controller and/or test other epic games see if its isolated to all games or just the one.

I do not understand. The game will continue to be launched through Epic Laucher! I wanted the Game to be fully handled by STEAM. I did everything in the tutorial video. Now, when I open STEAM, it opens EPIC LAUNCHER, which then launches the game. I'm there at the beginning of it all! My goal was to eliminate EPIC LAUCHER because it mishandles the modes.
Unfortunately, you aren’t able to transfer the games like that. This just allows you to centralize the ability to launch games from a single launcher instead of having to open up epic games yourself

I added a game and the controller works but he game is like 100x fast. Not sure how to fix it? The game options are at 60hz if that information helps

Yeah, that’s epics fault not steam. Cause what this does is trick epic into thinking your launching the game from their launcher

Only Xbox controllers work with epic games, if you don’t have one try using DS4 Windows to convert other controllers to Xbox ones

You are probably in windowed mode, try changing the screen settings in your rocket league display settings

Depending on the game you should be able to link it with your steam to play with your friends, it just varies on how you do it
