Their concept of marriage hasn't evolved to include sexual and/or romantic feelings, and is rooted in the idea that you should marry the person (or people) you love most. When my kid was 3 she demanded to marry me. So to appease her I told her OK. She was happy. Then I told her even if I promised to marry her, if she changed her mind, it would be OK. She said she would never change her mind. She is now married with a wonderful husband (not me) and 2 beautiful sons. Needless to say, along the way of 20 years, she changed her mind. I love this. My dad died when I was a child, so I don’t really know what it’s like to have the love of a dad. Now that I’m married and have my own babies, I see a father’s love every time my husband plays with the kids. The way they giggle and get so excited around him just melts my heart.

This makes me so sad, I’m always complaining about having to switch back and forth between my mom and dad’s houses, when I should be grateful that I have four loving parents when some people don’t. I have made the decision that even though I want to have my own kids I also want to adopt and not a baby or toddler, I want to adopt a teenager, someone who thinks no one will ever love them and that they will never have a family. I’m so so so luck for my situation and I think I need to start remembering that.

That's my story I'm only in sixth grade but I lost my dad in the military when I was 2, really sad I never knew what a dad's love really was, but then my mom got remarried to a guy named Weston and I'll tell you what , I may not have known what a dad was when I was young but now I love my dad to the bottom of my heart❤️

This makes me so sad, I’m always complaining about having to switch back and forth between my mom and dad’s houses, when I should be grateful that I have four loving parents when some people don’t. I have made the decision that even though I want to have my own kids I also want to adopt and not a baby or toddler, I want to adopt a teenager, someone who thinks no one will ever love them and that they will never have a family. I’m so so so luck for my situation and I think I need to start remembering that.
