I watched the video release from Rene of Paris with Alexander Trumbull and he used the flat iron/hot comb like a curling iron to get really nice curls. It will only smooth and straighten the way Misty is using it. You can go to Aderan's Hair Goods to watch the video.

Turnbull had a video on Instagram in which he showed how to get a blow-out effect with the comb. I couldn’t play this video- it kept stopping and starting over. But I’d love to know if this blow out is possible.

I'm sorry I missed the live presentation. If you use on the underside you can make it curl under and don't hold it one spot for too long.
