“ LOVE YOU GIRLS “ ❤ … Y’all are sooo smart , cute, funny, Talented & great communicators giving & helpful ‼️Coming in to see you soon & buy more great wigs . I definitely beed help🥴
Omg! I heard “in my little pea brain” Kim say Misty is wearing an enema. I about spit out my drink then realized that was kind of the wig name🤣🤣🤣 love you girls!!!
OMG! I've never laughed so much in my life! I couldn't help myself when you did side by side of the model's hair and then you guy's right out of the box. 😂😂 All laughing aside, I loved this video. So many wonderful tips! You ladies are absolutely fabulous. I so wish I could come into your shop but I live in Virginia.
THANK YOU for showing how to do heat/wave maintenance specifically on Unfiltered. Mine has been sitting in a box for at least a month while I've been looking for exactly this. My long hair fell out before the beach wave era so I never learned how to make them on real so starting to learn on a wig has been extra intimidating, especially on Unfiltered bc I love that wave pattern so much and didn't want to mess it up.
First, excellent video. I have returned so many wigs out of frustration of them not looking like the picture. Shame on these companies for highly styling their wigs and even cutting them for the pictures in their ad. That is very unfair to their customers. When you order online; it is very expensive to have to return wigs. You wondered what is in Windex; the ammonia is what cuts the grease and grim on our windows. It sounds like it does the same on wigs that have product build up. Great tip, by the way.
I hate to say this but when I first got to wearing wigs I thought they would look like the pictures also, it's taken me years to realize that isn't the case. BTW, That's a very good idea to have that as a subject
I also have alopecia universalis and I haven't had any luck with wig grips. They always end up at the top of my wig.I do secure my wigs with Got to be Glued and it does stay put but I can only secure at the forehead.
My biggest frustration is fit.... I have a HUGE HEAD.... and long as well ....cannot find ANY good wigs to fit and cannot afford thousands for a custom made!!!! Iv always had thin hair and now at 60.... Its just aweful..... Please where can i get wigs that have modern style and FIT A EXTRA LARGE HEAD
I am loving your tutorials. I am so glad you were talking about Windex because I was experimenting with my sky wig and I have the spray wax I did exactly what you were not supposed to do I sprayed the whole hair and I am so glad I seen this video because now I know to use some Windex on it before I wash it to get it out I thought I had ruined my wig I just want to say thank you thank you thank you so much for this tutorial...
Thanks for all the tips Ladies! I heard there is a (hot) air brush tool by Remington? I am based in UK, so feedback welcome. I take it you can use the (hot) air brush on non-HD wigs? Thanks!
I have alopecia with very thin baby fine hair. I bought a Milano wig cap grip and it slides off my head underneath my wig. What can I do to prevent this? I use It Stays to secure my wigs but would like to have the option of using both. Also, my lace front wig is very irritating to my forehead, is there something I can use to stop the irritation?
I have the same amount of hair. I finally found that if I put my wig grip on and then brought the lace front of the wig as close as possible to the edge of the wig grip, without letting the grip show, the grip will lift the lace just enough to keep it from scratching my forehead. Also, I bought expensive wig grips and nothing stayed on. They just slid right off. I went to a cheap wig store and I mean the one that sells extensions in a six pack, bought a $3.00 beige velvet grip. It stays on perfectly. The secret to keeping it on for me is to stretch it firmly and make sure it is below those little bones that stick out at the base of your skull. Sorry this is so long but I struggled so long and finally figured this out. I hope it helps you.
@@vikkivon5222 Thank you for your great advice! The way you explained it very easy to understand and is the best suggestion I’ve heard so far for my problem. I have a Sally’s beauty supply in my city. I’m not sure if they carry wig grips. Their wig supplies are very limited but I will be checking soon.
@@amitchell9820 I'm happy to help! You won't find a wig grip at Sally's. You need to find a wig store that sells inexpensive African American wigs. They have lots of cool stuff and also wig heads at lower prices.
@@vikkivon5222 I would have to go about 1 1/2 hours from my city for that kind of store. I’m wondering if a cheap one from AMAZON would work. I may have to try there first.
Misty, I heard you say that Godiva changes the name of their wigs. Are you actually saying that they buy wigs from different manufacturers and then change the name of the wig and resell it as their own? I did hear someone else say something like that a while back and I didn't believe it.
@@cg4806 Thank you so much for your response! I guess Noriko must be fine with them doing this because they have been in business for a long time. I really like the look of the Diana wig that Godiva has. Do you happen to know which Noriko wig that would be?
Seems to me that all the wig designers do that. There are so many similar styles and colors. Like anything sold, it is a matter of personal preference which item you buy. I might want to buy a red turtleneck sweater of which there are thousands. The one I buy might be from Land End even though Eddie Baurer sells the same sweater made from the same material but at a different price or it has a different sleeve cuff I don’t like or the red is not the hue I prefer. I might also see a red turtleneck at a bargain store that hits all my desires but maybe is as soft or is too stretchy. What I will say about Godiva’s Secret Wigs is that their Cristi wig was the first wig I bought and I unboxed it, shook it out, put it on and within less than a minute it looked exactly the way it is modeled. I recently bought a similar style in a color Godiva does not carry and I have been messing with this wig for three days and I cannot get it to look even remotely decent. That Godiva wig looks perfect every time I put it on and I have been wearing it for three months and have washed it and it is every bit as beautiful.
I love it that u do this show. U take the fear out of these wigs for us newbies. Thank u
Your wig frustration video Ladies, was outstanding ! I learned a lot! Thank you both for sharing your expertise!

What a great video. I've discovered this concept a while ago but there was a time when I didn't know how to make my wigs suited for my face
You ladies are always so fun & funny to watch. Thanks for the helpful info
Do ya'll have 100% human hair wigs?

Great to see you both and Marcia again!
I wear many of my Raquel Welch shake and go right out of the box without any product.
They look awesome…

There is a silicone wig grip that you might try. It’s specifically for those with no hair, I think.
Wow! Thanks for the windex tip!

I like to have a small fan handy while curling. No need to wait so long.. Totally works great.
Best ever video!
Misty what wig & color are you wearing .I would love to have that wig. It is adorable
Thank you for this
Would love to hear more about the windex thing

I like Mistys flat version of Jett better than the model pics. Very rarely do l see a good photo by these so called stylists.
When is the Tony of Beverly Rooted Pink Pearl coming out in other wigs such as Fiona?
Can you demonstrate using the Windex please?
Which hot tools brush size do you think would be used the most for wigs like Alva? 1 1/2 inch or the smaller one?
The Hot Tools brush definitely fixes face flippers.
Hey y'all from the Panhandle.
Can you use the hot tools brush on synthetic and heat friendly?

I love Jett! It's very close to my natural hair style. But I need it in black. I'm having a hard time finding a cute short style in black. HELP!!!!!!
Misty, I found the answers.
Windex for hd fibers and synthetic?
I believe the correct pronunciation is more like Onima, not enima! LOL
And I hope you do continue to do transcripts with all your videos

I need to see a longer Shag wavy Blonde, No Yellow .

My Jett hardly had any hair. Even with tons of product, it was flat to the head.
Rename it: a nee ma.
