I went to a book fair recently and got a second-hand copy of Eragon and I haven't done any research because I'm scared of spoilers! Could you tell me a bit about it? I also have a 14 year old younger sister, is it ok for her age?
I hope that u put a book each time u take one , we have these and love them too but the meaning of these neighborhood library books it means you can take a book you put a book back
She does but you really do not need to do that. Do if you’re able! Absolutely! But these are free resources, not something you have to trade for. There are many people (like myself) who will drop off books and not take any! If you’re that concerned you can just put the book back once you’ve read it

My husband is the same :( he even sprays brand new books with alcohol if they don't come in plastic wrap He doesn't know how to explain it and now we have 2 libraries - one with the clean books and one with used books

The little free library in my town had the window busted and all the books taken and then they turned it into a mini pantry for the homeless. I think the owner of it gave up at this point
I tried the other day cause I have so many books to give away but man the bugs and spiders got to me... I started getting itchy bumps.. The books had bugs in them. I hate it. 😩
if you end up getting a book u don't like n don't wanna trade... basically if you feel it might go to waste turn it into an altered book journal. i did that to all my textbooks. it's serotonin heaven
I would rather pay my taxes and support a real local library, not some libertarians who want to shut down libraries. Reasons for wanting to shut them down, homeless people hang out there during their opening hours when it is either too hot or too cold. I can buy the book online I do not want my teen in there because of the homeless crisis. We should not have to pay for the lower income people to be able to check out book for free. Yes, these are actual arguments used in my hometown. That is now only open 5 days a week and 20 less hours a week from the cuts they made. I am glad you leave a book though.

They’re for everyone, not just poor people. Physical libraries also still exist for poor people to use. And in little free libraries exchanging books is encouraged but not required.

Eragon is book one, you'll want to look for the rest of the series now, it's one of the greats in my opinion

I would put Eragon in the same category as Lord of the Rings. It's good, but not fast paced enough for me. Definitely safe for a 14 yo.

No because when I saw the outsider I got so excited, that book is so good. Me and my friends were hooked on that book forever.

Holly crap the +Anima manga in the back. That series was the first manga books I ever owned. Got it at my middle school book fair over 15 years ago.
It’s so good and hard to find now 😢 I only ever had the first like 2 books and only found another couple volumes at an anime convention 😭
