Somewhere in the midst of the snow drifts of feathers my husband called and wanted to bring his boss over! I just laughed and told them to come at their own risk. They opted to go elsewhere

I had an almost feather apocalypse when I dissesembled feather snow pants and vests to turn them into bucket insulators for horse water buckets ( I quickly realized I would have to sew both ends before cutting to prevent feathers spilling everywhere) you were very meticulous and did a great job on your now beautiful couches GOOD JOB!!!
You did an amazing job! I'm so happy you used those feathers and didn't toss them. I can't imagine how many birds it takes to stuff a couch but, I'm sure it was a lot. :( I'm glad their feathers didn't go to waste.
Great job!! So much patience! I did cringe a bit when you cut the zipper to just fit the back of the cushion. Taking it around each back corner would have helped a lot when putting foam in😁👍🏻🇨🇦. Lesson learned👍🏻. They look great and super comfy looking too!

Looks great! Kudos to you, I don't have that much patience to do all that. Tip: put a broom stick or wooden dowel in the crease of the couch cover it keeps cover from moving around.
Also makes me think for all the work you put into revamp the couch why would anyone pay the ridiculous pottery barn price for the original couch if it was gonna get that disheveled after just a few yrs?

I have a Basset Sofa I covered in a white Rachel Ashwell Slip and had the back and seat cushions covered by a person on Etsy, it looks amazing. I do pin the arms to tighten them, and it looks great. Upholstery pins are a nice option. I love Ikea's covers because they're gorgeous and the price. Again, great job!

I have the Ektorp sofa but I did some things in reverse. I bought the Ektorp and have added down. Haha. New subscriber and you made me laugh so much.
