You're showing Lilly the real classics now ! This is a fabulous hit from 1964 . A song of unknown origen but a fantastic version . Glad Lilly appreciated the instrumentation as well as the vocals. 😀 .
It's a traditional song. Bob Dylan did an interesting version of it too. A lot slower and lacking the amazing organ sound that makes up at least half the song.
Eric Burden is a brilliant singer especially in that song though he sung a lot of good songs suiting his bluesy type of voice. In particular Don't let me be misunderstood being another one where he really exploited his vocal ability among others like It's My Life and We've Gotta Get Out Of This Place.
Absolutely loved Eric Burdon and the Animals when they first hit the music scene, pretty much bought all their albums. This is one of the most popular cover songs from them. Loved this band and even when they disbanded, Eric had some great songs..One of my favs was " Sky Pilot"..a bit long but damn good.
A bonafide classic of British pop music. It's great that Steve is showing Lilly such a wide variety of music from decades past. So many of today's young people know nothing other than what is in the charts and they are missing out on enjoying so many wonderful songs, bands and singers, it's such a shame.

Is Lilly getting subtle early Christmas reminders in there? Loved the "how dare you" look when you questioned her instrumental talents! Great song and another great video
Remember listening to this great song when i was very young on my Dansete radio. The key board player is Alan Price who had a good solo career of his own songs including Simon Smith and his dancing bear and the Jarrow song he was born Washington co Durham.
i lived in the uk in the early 60s and remember cliff richards ,eartha kitt etc. Coronation street.Get her a guitar and I bet she can learn this song in no time.
List..........."Come dance with me" by Jay and the Americans............"The stroll" by the Diamonds........."Last kiss" by Wednesday............."Anything for you" by the Law
Its a Vox Continental organ to be pricise. Apparently that was a very popular cheap organ in the 60's that a lot of bands used. It has an amazing sound to it. The song 96 Tears by Question Mark and The Mysterians was mostly entirely made up of a really catchy organ riff played on one of those organs with its distinctive sound.
This young lady is going to be so music savvy and maybe some Creedence Clearwater Revival would be something to think about but as usual another great reaction.
I didn't remember he was part of the group Bill, but now you have mentioned it it has jogged my memory. There's some stuff there to tell Lilly if I show her another Animals song.
A great British band :) I offer a challenge for you and Lilly to react too. To be honest Kav, I'm not a fan of the Pet Shop Boys, I can tolerate their music, but I couldn't say I like it. Doing all four of those is a challenge I would probably have to pass on. That's not to say Lilly won't like them though, which one would be your first choice?
Go air keyboard Lilly! Great reaction...
As usual, commenting could be a challenge, I forgot to sit Lilly on a few cushions.😀
Lilly is the undisputed Queen of air instruments!
Such a likeable girl.

60 years ago now. Makes you wonder why they don't write music like that anymore when it is so amazing.

go lilly go
Classic! Never gets old. Eric Burden is a legend. And to think: 1964!
Lilly is learning so much from these reactions, even though she doesn’t know it.

Part of the British invasion, the great Eric Burdon on vocals and a very old blues song. Looks like Lilly liked it, it's a classic for sure.

One of the first songs I learned to play on the guitar.
I agree with Lilly. I quite liked it.
A few bars in, and I recognize it!

Seen Eric many times. He still has those pipes.
Good reaction Lilly, glad you liked this oldie. Steve ,been a while again. Short comments, has not went through several times. Enjoy day
such an awesome song
My dad met the animals in the mid sixties. He said they were all great guys, apart from one. Alan Price. He said he was an arrogant so and so.
I never got to see the Animals but I have seen Eric Burdon
Sky Pilot by The Animals is an absolutely amazing song she should hear as far as defining the late 60's psychedelic progressive style sound.

Well I have shown her Bad Moon Rising.
You forgot to mention band member Chas Chandler who went on to manage Jimmy Hendrix and then Slade 😁

@@Lilly8Listens mate..you’ve gotta get out of this place …if that’s the last thing you ever do 😁
Show Lily Norman Greenbaums Spirit in the Sky😂 i think she might like it. Or maybe The Move Flowers in the Rain
Flowers in the Rain is on here, I've shown her it.
Blackberry Way by The Move is one of my favourites. You should show her that.
@@ccadam Yeh, I'll get round to that one, I like it too, one of the first records I ever bought.
When discussing the song, please pause the playback, otherwise Lilly misses the music and the lyrics.
Noted.
