The Christian guy saying he won't tattoo a nazar/máti (what he is calling an "evil eye," it's actually an amulet _against_ the evil eye) or a hamsa because of "evil spirits" is so weird to me because both symbols are used across the Mediterranean, North Africa, and SW Asia by Muslims, Jews, *AND CHRISTIANS* as protection AGAINST evil.

yeah like it’s fine to not want to do them if it goes against your beliefs but the way he said it felt kinda belittling of other people’s beliefs. especially talking about the evil eye and hamsa, which are both significant symbols with a lot of long spread history and importance, neither being explicitly new age like he says. also i’m sure he didn’t realize but they’re both also used in judaism, so that gave me a bit of a sour feeling.
Yeah, that plus him showing what could very well be a very private and intimate piece with his wife beforehand kinda icked me out, maybe it's just cause I'm a digital artist but I would NEVER be comfortable showing something like a commission to even my partner without my client's explicit permission!
It's fine to say what you will/won't do, but he was just very judgy with it.. Plus, the wife stuff. 🤢 I'm a Christian too, but I don't get why people can't just let others live..
The whole your body your choice thing is fine. You are allowed to have any tattoo you want on your body… but you are not entitled to a specific artist doing that tattoo. They have every right to say no!
Im sorry but the christian dude weirded me out on the wife overseeing his work because if this was a woman most would see this as a controlling partner using religion to abuse her , also the disrespect to the hamsa and evil eye classic christian hypocrisy they wouldnt like it others were speaking on their symbols in that way even their main sysmbol was a literal torture device ✝️.

I feel like the whole upside down tattoo debate is blown way out of proportion like it's your body you live your best life. A tattoo being the "wrong" way around isn't hurting anyone
My quill is upside down, it would look shit up the right way. No one has ever commented that it’s weird,in 10 years. I’ve also got a micro tattoo, it’s not two years old yet and it looks okay still.
I have one of David from Lost Boys that's upside down because he's a vampire and was also the only way to fit it in the space lol idgaff what people say about it either
as someone whos planning to get a memorial tattoo, I respect the artist that said they'd wait. when I lost my mom I already knew I wanted to get a tattoo for her bc we loved watching shows like ink masters (we sort've hate watched it) and she wanted me to design her tattoos and we'd get them together for our birthdays (they were close together). the year wait helped me think of exactly what i'd want and the placement that'd mean the most

Goodness me the Christian Guy. The judgmental stuff? Ugh, FINE, whatever makes you happy man. Overall I found it pretty "normal" though. But once he got to how his wife fits into all this? OMGGGG I really made the same face you did, Lauren. It just felt so *odd* and concerning????????? I went from "Well, okay then." to "Omgosh... 💀💀💀"
I remember hearing tattoo artists roast Demi Lovato’s “Stay Strong” tattoos on her inner wrists for being “backwards” & it made me so mad bc it was literally a personal reminder TO HERSELF. So in my opinion, they’re facing *the right way*
With the upside down tattoos thing, mine on my forearms are upside down. For me, it meant a lot for me to have them orientated so that I could see them right way up when I looked at them because I got them as a reminder to be myself no matter what people think. They’re symbols that represent parts of myself that a lot of people don’t like but that are pretty integral to who I am.
I know what you mean. I have a quote tattoo, "It's just a ride", it's a Bill Hicks quote. The point is the quote is life is just a ride, it's not something to take too seriously, don't be afraid because it's just a ride (basically). I would often say it to myself when I was having anxiety attacks, and it would help a lot.. Rather than have it upside down on my forearm, I have it on the side of my forearm. I can read it really easily, and at a lot of angles people can see what it says
Same. I have two Greek words on my wrists and they face me because they are FOR me. They are a reminder from a hard time in my life, not a show piece. Thankfully my artist had no problem with it. I had more trouble getting my wedding ring.
I was also thinking that on forearms/hands we move them around so much there's a less distinct "right way" up/down than with the torso, for example. I only have a few in that area so far, but they're already a mix of directions, and I have plans for one that I guess would be considered "sideways".
I think it's important to say that the girl who didn't share the location of her tattoo until last minute (because it was down there) is a huge creep!! That's really creepy! Please say it!
My mom is a nurse who does laser tattoo removal, and she says that red ink is the easiest to remove, so I wouldn't be surprised that its staying power is bad.
Im pretty sure it’s something about the wavelength and physics and all that. Red light has a longer wavelength than blue so it probably absorbs energy more easy causing it to break up faster. Ya know, science shit haha
My dad lost all the red in his rose tattoo due to having several MRIs. The radiographer told him it was pretty common that the red ink falls out due to them. While it wasn't as bright & vibrant as your red, it had still held up incredibly well for a tattoo that was 40 years old (and no touch ups), and then within 2 years all the red was gone. It was wild. It could be that older inks are more prone to it, but the radiographer said they had seen it a lot 🤷.
22:26 it’s because their relationship is lacking in trust. If you trust your partner, then you don’t need to go through everything they do and either approve or disapprove
Any time someone asks me my “star sign” I tell them something different and they ALWAYS tell me I definitely fit it. It only works because you already believe it.
ngl i used to think like this until i learned about the other signs in my chart and realized that it actually does fit me, just that people expect the sun sign to completely explain their whole personality which is ridiculous. you may still think it’s bullshit though, but i do think it’s worth looking into if you’re at all interested. even if you don’t really believe it can be a helpful tool for self examination and growth.
i think "upside down" is in the eye of the beholder - i got my wrist tatt upside down because my hands spend a lot more time up gesturing or holding things than they do hanging at my sides.
I think it's mostly relevant if you have a bunch of tattoos on your arms (especially close by). then they will look upside in comparison to the other tattoos
just finished my last exam today, my family’s acting straight out of an aita reddit story, and this is exactly what i need 🤌 snacks and beverages ready
I just got all my gifts on Amazon tonight. I don't really want to patronize Amazon, but I haven't been able to bring myself to spend hours driving to different stores and waiting in line at the post office. It was a mental health related choice
The red ink girl is right (although her finger tat example was not a good one) in my experience she’s talking about like script or fineline Pinterest-y stuff. lining in red often heals patchy, fades quickly and can look like scars. It’s not the same as packing red with a shader. I always recommend clients get black - but I’ll still do the red if they want it after I tell them my recommendation. I agree with most of the artists otherwise! No firsts on the face/hand/neck, no specific cultural tattoos, no inner fingers, no intimate areas. Great vid ✌️
When I was getting a tattoo on my forearm, I asked my friend the artist, as a joke, to make it upside down because "it's for me". Without missing a beat, he started preparing to place the stencil upside down, so I made it clear that it was just a joke. He then looked at me straight in the eye and said, "People who ask for upside down tattoos deserve to have them."
LAUREN my love I got a new tattoo this week! It's whimsical! It's cute! It's me! I don't know why it took me so long to decide that my tattoos don't have to be universally liked? Better late then never! But watching your channel definitely helped ❤
The only thing I refuse as a artist is a style I’m not good at (but I will refer you to someone who can do it amazingly) anything offensive or racist, and really if your not heavily tattooed I don’t feel comfortable tattooing your face. And any minors, sorry 18 and up. I mean, I am very honest with my clients by saying maybe getting a fine line tattoo on your fingers, hands, feet will not hold well at all. But that doesn’t mean I won’t do it,. You are an adult in my chair and you can make that decision. But I did tell you the potential consequence of doing a certain action.
Hi Lauren! I'm pretty sure reason red pigment (in hair dyes, tattoos, etc) doesn't stay as well is because of the size of the molecule itself - the red pigment molecules are physically bigger than the other ones, therefore they're harder to pack in there and harder to keep in place, but once they're in there, they're in there.
Oh… that’s… that’s a choice 😂 Kinda fits with the horror genre though, it’s probably uneasy to look at but that fits the aesthetic!! So I can’t be mad 😂
For the red ink thing, it 100% depends on the person. My skin soaks in all color and we have done a lot of color outlines including pastels, pink, and red. My partner skin hates red and she had red fully drop out of her skin twice before it stuck. We had the same artist so it was her bodt not a skill issue
i have about 5 more gifts to crochet and this is the perfect video to crochet something that isn't one of those gifts to 😂😂 so much love to you dear 🩷🩷🩷
lol im also crocheting my presents while watching this... i decided to crochet everyone gifts this year but also waited until this week to start, whoops
When I was in the shop getting my first tattoo, a guy came in requesting a walk-in. The shop owner asked him what he wanted. The would-be-client asked for a swastika on his FOREHEAD. Obviously the owner told him no and to leave. I knew the shop was in a rough part of town and he was very clearly on something but I was SHOOK
feels like some of these artists are telling on themselves ("palm tattoos never work", "red ink outlines never work" really means "none of MINE have worked out well", not no tattoo artist could do it well) - I had an artist tell me they wouldn't tattoo a plaited pentagram but would not tell me WHY and it drove me up the wall. Another artist in the shop was happy to do it - I tried explaining that to me it was a math nerd thing from Pythagoras but they did not care to hear it. Thankfully the other artist did, and we were both happy with the end result :) Personally I get why there's stigma with "upside down" tattoos but it never mattered much to me. The one that I didn't realize before but does make aesthetic sense is "backward" tattoos e.g. on the upper arm/bicep and the animal or person is facing toward the collector's back instead of front, aesthetically I do think it looks better facing "forward" >.>
As a fine line girly with a super experienced tattoo artist, well done and well executed fine line can heal exceptionally well and it's exhausting to constantly defend against blanket statements. Being in the fine line world, I've seen tattoos nearly a decade old that still look incredible and have settled so beautifully. Honestly it's the same as every other tattoo, if you find an incredible artist with a strong portfolio of both healed and fresh tattoos, fine line is a perfectly valid style of tattoo to enjoy n
Yes! Rarely is a blanket statement true. One thing I’ve learned following people like Pony Lawson is contrast is what’s important, not being bold. That and leaving enough space for the lines to spread a bit over time.
I think it's funny she approved a video of him telling the world that she makes all these choices for him. And by funny, I mean surprising. I'd think a person wouldn't want the world to know they're that controlling.
Kirk Fagan has said about not getting red as an outline or all red tattoo as it falls out/fades, he said it’s fine to use as colour inside black lines like your red is. ❤
On the red ink outline girl, I have a red ink outline tattoo on my underarm that is almost exactly a year old. It was done by an artist that had recently been an apprentice, so there are a couple spots that are patchy but I attribute that more to her skills than the ink. It looks almost exactly the same as when I got it. When I said I wanted it in red, she didn't say boo about it. She did show it off to the other artists in the studio and one was like, "red?", but he seemed like an old school tattoo guy so I always figured it just wasn't his taste. I know it's new (in the grand scheme of things), and in a spot that doesn't get much sun, but I like the way it looks and am still glad I got it in red. I think all red tattoos look rad.
For me personally, whenever my best friend and I are doing artwork, we usually ask for each other’s opinions to see if something needs to be fixed or altered for the art piece to look better. I can imagine the guy asking his wife and getting an “approval” from her in that sense. Just to see if something needs to be improved or needs some minor adjustments. If it’s not similar in that sense, then I’m unsure of what he meant.
The red ink is so surprising to me. I’ve heard it before, but the artist who did mine was stoked and I think mine look great even the one that’s just an outline!
I would LOVE for you to work in a tattoo shop as reception or social media. You'd be so at home. You know so much and you care about this industry!! I feel like you'd be such an asset for a shop!!
I think the rose tattoos on your hands look great that way, especially bc they flow with your fingers if you know what i mean😂 also i really think it depends on the placement, kind of tattoo and meaning, like i have a (smaller) fineline sheep on my wrist which is a matching tattoo with my mom, and i'm like why would i not have it 'upside down', you can barely see it when my arms are down and its for personal reasons not aesthetic reasona that i have it
I remember having a similar conversation with a tattoo artist and he told me about a 18 year old who very seriously wanted a poutine tattooed on his forehead 🫠
I view the inside of my arms as for me. Outside is for the outside world. So my inner arm tattoos are facing me. The outer arms are the correct way round for others to see them xD
Use gift bags instead of wrapping. Ecological solution plus nails are save and not interrupting in putting stuff to bags. Also i agree with native tattoos, if white people from America want folklore, tradition based tattoo get dna testing to know from where your ancestors are coming from if you dont know it, like Ireland, Bulgaria, UK, Germany, Poland etc. And get cultural/pagan tattoo. These are so cool and in line with your cultural heritage
You can get really nice cloth gift bags from independent makers. Those you can use dozens of times. They're sturdy and you can find them made from discarded textiles. Plus protecting the nails/claws! All the win.
I wouldn't be offended if someone got a tattoo related to my country based on their DNA test but I'd give them massive side eye lmao. Why bother getting something cultural/folk-y tattooed that you have no connections with? To Europeans, the American obsession with ancestry often feels icky.
I'm not sure restricting cultural symbols and folklore to people who are genetically from that area is the... most inclusive or well thought out stance. What if someone was adopted into a different culture and has deep personal and familial ties to that place's culture that way? Or conversely, if you didn't even _know_ you have roots in a place, how meaningful will the traditions and history of that place _actually_ be to you if it's something you do not participate in at all? Ethnicity, culture, and nationality do not have rigid borders defined by DNA, and trying to put them into these tiny boxes is doing more harm than good, and has very disturbingly ethnonationalistic connotations. We cannot be policing other people's cultural identities like this. Like I actually agree with the artists who won't do appropriate-y tattoos or like the native imagery on white people. But this is such a drastic overcorrection to the opposite direction.
I have an ex who is a liar, and he has a tattoo that's just a black outline that he always said used to be filled in red. I always figured he was just a liar, but that one girl does give me pause. Maybe some tattooists just can't apply red correctly.
I have a pair of tattoos on my wrists that are the crown and wand from Fairly Odd Parents-- I requested to have the wand upside down so when I point I'm pointing the wand in that direction. Silly but I still kind of like it. But I do think it's small and simple enough that it doesn't really matter. It can look a bit weird when people have face tattoos etc upside down but eh, it's their body.
Being upset by upside down tattoos is crazy to me. I know the artists said it sarcastically, but if I have to look at it forever, I want it to be right side up to me. I will literally be spending the rest of my life looking at it, why should I care if other people have to see it upside down for a few minutes versus my entire lifetime. I don’t want to stare at an upside down tree for the next (hopefully) 70 years. You’ll be fine for a few minutes lol
I have seen the red outline tattoo thing a couple times before. It seems like the straight only red just doesn't stand out and looks blurry on peoples skin. Idk
For “upside down” tattoos, the only time I recommend not doing that is if you want a cohesive sleeve later on.. but even then, do you boo boo! It’s your body! As far as the red or colored ink outline, she is correct, it breaks up way more often than black ink. Different inks have different particles, tones and consistency.
About the red ink situation: with fine line script we always advise against only red ink since we are a tropical country! Color usually falls out easier with sun damage so if beach-loving people want to keep their dainty tattoos looking great, black is always the best. Comparing it to the application done in traditional tattoos and others where it’s packed is like comparing apples to asparagus 🙏 much love!!
Names are a big no for me, I literally only make exceptions for them if the person is older and very sure and/or the name is for someone who is deceased. Also hard no to face / hand / neck tattoos on anyone who isn't already super tattooed or fairly young -I know this is a bit old fashioned of me but it's something that my traditional street shop apprenticeship taught me and I've always stood by! Obviously I also refuse to do anything hateful or super inappropriate... Looking at that particular someone who got no.1 on Roly's worst tattoo fails of 2024...
One of my tattoos could be “upside down” but it’s for me to enjoy not anyone else? So when I look at it, it’s the right way up 😂🤷🏻♀️ Like none of my tattoos are for anyone else to like or enjoy - they’re all for me, so I don’t think it even matters if someone else sees then the wrong way round or whatever. 😊🤷🏻♀️
Always love your tattoo channel. You are always interesting. Racists tattoos are a definite no-no for any humane decent artist. You are a good, honest person
my only thing about the "upside down" tattoos is that they could look weird if you decide to get other tattoos on your arm going the "right way" later on. my first tattoo was on my wrist, facing me, and i have gotten a couple other small ones around it since then, but now that i'm older and have decided i want more tattoos (not heavily tatted by any means but just some more small ones spread around) i feel like i can't put anything else on that arm now because it will look weird facing the opposite way of my wrist ones.
As a Virgo, your reaction to your sister’s star sign was how everyone reacts when they hear me say mine. 😂🤌🏻 Love you Lauren, and hope your holidays are great.
Im surprised you’ve never heard about the red ink stuff. I thought it was pretty common knowledge that red ink is more likely to cause allergic reactions/fade faster/not heal well. Idk what it is about red pigment but it’s also a fairly common food allergy for people with red food dyes too
I got 3 memorial tattoos within a year and a half of each other. The first one was done about a month after my mama died. My mama and my grandma passed in 2022, and my daddy passed in 2023. I have all three of their handwriting as well. I wish I could show you my moms and grandmas handwriting. I feel like you would love my grandmas.
My artist will not tattoo someone if they come in impaired (drunk or high). Not just for the bleeding factor, but the consent isn’t the same when you’re under the influence. He also won’t do top of hands/neck to face if the person doesn’t have almost full sleeves or multiple big pieces because he doesn’t want someone’s first couple tattoos cuz he said he doesn’t want someone to get a huge tattoo that can’t be easily covered up and they end up regretting it.
I’ve seen several tattoo artists talk about outlines last best if done in black and discourage red, blue, etc…and say the same thing as the gal who mentioned it (even if her finger tattoo isn’t a good example for credibility)
I have my dad's signature saying "Love - Daddy" but it took me until 2022 to get that one. He died in 1994 when I was 14 and I had (in 2022) found a card in one of my storage bins with his signature. That's my second tattoo. My first one is a semi-colon cat and my third is my emotional support cats pawprint and his name as he recently, unexpectedly died of lymphoma in November. Also I'm a Libra full on
I get what tattoo artists mean with the 'upside down' tattoos. The only tattoo I have is in the same spot where the example was in the video and similar to what she said my tattoo artist explained it to me as well. I still went with it, I don't regret it and it's still such a joy after almost 10 years. It is really nice to see it 'right sideup' myself. The main thing for me is now wanting to get a lot, lot more tattoos and having to incorporate it in. And I'm actually considering getting another 'upside down' one on the side. It's small and very personal and I don't know, it's so nice to see/read it properly without having to look into a mirror.
I've wanted a tattoo but I never knew if I wanted it upside down or now. It's a Simi colon with butterfly wings colored like stained glass. I haven't considered whether I wanted it to face me or face out. Interesting to know some artist would only do it one way. Its stuff I never considered as someone who's only recently decided on tattoos
The Christian tattoo artist is so disrespectful calling spiritual beliefs "garbage" and "the only spirit we need guiding us is the holly spirit" we??? Speak for yourself
I never would have noticed that the rose tattoos are upside down. I feel like roses (and a lot of other flowers) are recognizable and organic enough that orienting them in any direction would look fine and natural.

The fact that he didn't even know what it was says a lot. Christians are always so incurious it's sad.
@@CarysCreatesThings the bible doesn't forbid tattooing. It forbids to cut youself in grieving which was a non-jewish practise
@@CarysCreatesThings technically only the tattoos or marks done to memorialize the dead.
but yeah the cherry picking is ridonkulous.

well said
right? he was super judgmental about it and dismissing it just to then say this other just as unbelievable thing is real.
The whole your body your choice thing is fine. You are allowed to have any tattoo you want on your body… but you are not entitled to a specific artist doing that tattoo. They have every right to say no!
I was thinking the same thing. It's your choice to get a certain design but it's also the artist's choice to refuse to do it
Im sorry but the christian dude weirded me out on the wife overseeing his work because if this was a woman most would see this as a controlling partner using religion to abuse her , also the disrespect to the hamsa and evil eye classic christian hypocrisy they wouldnt like it others were speaking on their symbols in that way even their main sysmbol was a literal torture device ✝️.

RED FLAG that "christian" tattoo artist

Right! It really annoys me.
I can get/see why tattooer's would hate to do them as it would be hard to see if it's coming out right as they are tattooing
I have one of David from Lost Boys that's upside down because he's a vampire and was also the only way to fit it in the space lol idgaff what people say about it either

Oh I’m so sorry to hear about your mum 💔 glad you got the perfect tattoo for her memorial 🩷
The evil eye has been in use for at least 3000 years so i’m not sure how that qualifies as “new age”
Right?? I have Jewish ancestry, and hearing him call the hamsa and evil eye "new age" just....smh
A friend told me I wasn't showing dedication to my kid because I didn't tattoo their name on myself shortly after they were born. Anyway, more than a decade later and my kid is trans and has a totally different name than the one I initially gave them. My kid really appreciates that I don't have a dead name tattoo.
That’s the wildest thing to expect of a new parent 😳
The parents who think stuff like that is normal usually end up idk, completely obsessing over their kids and suffocating them, end up as boymoms
ya, I never got the name thing like just go with a cute animal/flower/gem or birth date it's way safer
Goodness me the Christian Guy. The judgmental stuff? Ugh, FINE, whatever makes you happy man. Overall I found it pretty "normal" though. But once he got to how his wife fits into all this? I was also thinking that on forearms/hands we move them around so much there's a less distinct "right way" up/down than with the torso, for example. I only have a few in that area so far, but they're already a mix of directions, and I have plans for one that I guess would be considered "sideways".
I think it's important to say that the girl who didn't share the location of her tattoo until last minute (because it was down there) is a huge creep!! That's really creepy! Please say it!
I think in terms of the palm tattoo she said at the beginning she is a fine line artist, so on the palms fine lines are a terrible idea
Ah yeah… that would be a recipe for disaster 😂
I lost it at the biff part! 😂😂
Ain’t gonna catch me at the tattoo studio with me biff out 🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Snacks, in oven. Beverage, prepared. Treacle, posted. 🥳
Wooooooo 🥳
My mom is a nurse who does laser tattoo removal, and she says that red ink is the easiest to remove, so I wouldn't be surprised that its staying power is bad.
If you look at old old tattoos (50+ years old), the blacks and greens always stay but the red ink disappears on all the old folks lol
Im pretty sure it’s something about the wavelength and physics and all that. Red light has a longer wavelength than blue so it probably absorbs energy more easy causing it to break up faster. Ya know, science shit haha
what, mentioning your palm tattoo is 2 1/2 years old made me realise how long I've been watching your TH-cam channel for !
😂😂 I honestly respect that!!
ngl i used to think like this until i learned about the other signs in my chart and realized that it actually does fit me, just that people expect the sun sign to completely explain their whole personality which is ridiculous. you may still think it’s bullshit though, but i do think it’s worth looking into if you’re at all interested. even if you don’t really believe it can be a helpful tool for self examination and growth.
I love you
I love this 😂😂
I always say I'm an Asparagus!🌌

i think "upside down" is in the eye of the beholder - i got my wrist tatt upside down because my hands spend a lot more time up gesturing or holding things than they do hanging at my sides.
Congrats on your last exam 🥳 shame about the family though 😭😭😭
I haven't even bought presents yet, watching this instead of working out what I am getting for people 😂
LOL!!! My kinda person 😂
I just got all my gifts on Amazon tonight. I don't really want to patronize Amazon, but I haven't been able to bring myself to spend hours driving to different stores and waiting in line at the post office. It was a mental health related choice
Gift cards ;)
LOL
🙄🙄🙄 pretentious
I love gift wrapping, for me it's a way to show love, because I spend time for someone :)
Awwww 🥹 I wish my brain would think like this 😂🩷
10:00 unless it’s your pet. ALWAYS get tattoos to show your pets how much you love them 😸
(No my cat on my lap did not force me to write this)
LAUREN my love I got a new tattoo this week! It's whimsical! It's cute! It's me! I don't know why it took me so long to decide that my tattoos don't have to be universally liked? Better late then never! But watching your channel definitely helped ❤
Ahhhh so happy for you 🥳🩷
The only thing I refuse as a artist is a style I’m not good at (but I will refer you to someone who can do it amazingly)
anything offensive or racist, and really if your not heavily tattooed I don’t feel comfortable tattooing your face.
Guy I work with has an entire horror realism sleeve upside down. Ghost face, Freddy, Jason, chunky, etc
Oh… that’s… that’s a choice 😂
Kinda fits with the horror genre though, it’s probably uneasy to look at but that fits the aesthetic!! So I can’t be mad 😂
The last thing id want while getting tattoed is a bible lesson
For the red ink thing, it 100% depends on the person. My skin soaks in all color and we have done a lot of color outlines including pastels, pink, and red.
My partner skin hates red and she had red fully drop out of her skin twice before it stuck. We had the same artist so it was her bodt not a skill issue
i have about 5 more gifts to crochet and this is the perfect video to crochet something that isn't one of those gifts to 😂😂 so much love to you dear 🩷🩷🩷
lol im also crocheting my presents while watching this... i decided to crochet everyone gifts this year but also waited until this week to start, whoops
needing to crochet 8 chickens in 4 days isnt a situation you want to be in, but alas, its the one im in right now lol
Sat here finishing a snowman for Mum!
Merry Christmas Crafting. 🎄
20:24 we finally know whose tattooing all the Jesus imagery we see around. Maybe I should ask his wife if it's OK to post this about him 😂🤦🏾♂️
I think it's funny she approved a video of him telling the world that she makes all these choices for him. And by funny, I mean surprising. I'd think a person wouldn't want the world to know they're that controlling.
I got my memorial piece for my best friend 14 days after we knew she passed..lyrics to a song she wrote. Don't regret it at all
Kirk Fagan has said about not getting red as an outline or all red tattoo as it falls out/fades, he said it’s fine to use as colour inside black lines like your red is. ❤
Lauren!!! I just finished having a touch up on an arm tattoo that needed some TLC and ordered dinner! Perfect timing!!
🥳🥳🥳🥳 have a great evening
Gift wrapping is easy; when you just use a gift bags. Even I am behind with gift wrapping. lol
I think the rose tattoos on your hands look great that way, especially bc they flow with your fingers if you know what i mean😂 also i really think it depends on the placement, kind of tattoo and meaning, like i have a (smaller) fineline sheep on my wrist which is a matching tattoo with my mom, and i'm like why would i not have it 'upside down', you can barely see it when my arms are down and its for personal reasons not aesthetic reasona that i have it
So many videos in two weeks! You're spoiling us, Lauren! I'm loving it! Merry Christmas, if there's no more videos until New Year's.
I remember having a similar conversation with a tattoo artist and he told me about a 18 year old who very seriously wanted a poutine tattooed on his forehead 🫠
I haven't even started my Christmas shopping. Haha.
I view the inside of my arms as for me. Outside is for the outside world. So my inner arm tattoos are facing me. The outer arms are the correct way round for others to see them xD
my cousins got matching tattoos of crosses. They are facing their way. So to everyone else, they are upside down. Not the vibe they were going for.
I'm currently in bed too sick to wrap presents so this video had perfect timing to distract me for a bit 😂
Oh I’m sorry my love!! I hope you feel better soon 🩷
Just wanna say your makeup has been looking TOPNOTCH like the eyes girl😍
I have a pair of tattoos on my wrists that are the crown and wand from Fairly Odd Parents-- I requested to have the wand upside down so when I point I'm pointing the wand in that direction. Silly but I still kind of like it. But I do think it's small and simple enough that it doesn't really matter. It can look a bit weird when people have face tattoos etc upside down but eh, it's their body.
Ok that is just iconic!!!!
Your outfit is everything omg
Thank you 🥹🫶🏻
That ginger girl who doesnt like to do red ink -- tell me youre not a good tattoo artist without telling me youre not a good tattoo artist 😂
I’m wrapping presents while watching your video! That’s what gets me through. I save a few videos that I know will make it less painful.
The guy with the wife "advising" him is a bit weird.
Yesss. He claims that the only spirit who has to guide us is the Holy Spirit, but he is 100% guided by his wife's spirit 😅
Poor indoctrinated guy...
32:04 I’m tempted to get the word “heretic” as an inner lip tattoo
I like that!
That guy calling hamsa and the evil eye „new age stuff“ was goofy as hell lol
Girl my nails are clipped to the quick and i still hate gift wrapping...
LOL isn’t it just the most annoying task?!?!!
One of my tattoos could be “upside down” but it’s for me to enjoy not anyone else? So when I look at it, it’s the right way up 😂🤷🏻♀️
Like none of my tattoos are for anyone else to like or enjoy - they’re all for me, so I don’t think it even matters if someone else sees then the wrong way round or whatever.
Not me finding a fellow Deobi in tattoo content! Hi!
The Christian guy would swallow his tongue if he saw me - zodiac signs on my fingers & a 🍆 skull 😂😂😂
@ omg stop this is so funny 😂😂 hii deobiii
As a Virgo, your reaction to your sister’s star sign was how everyone reacts when they hear me say mine. 😂🤌🏻
Love you Lauren, and hope your holidays are great.
5:30 you can always just get her signature saying I love you ❤
Gotta say, I absolutely adore the bat face tattoo on your knee, goofy ah lil guy
Upside down tattoos: the old lady with her deceased husband’s portrait on her thigh for her alone - 100%
not the BIFF OUT!! 🤣
Your nails are so pretty! I just put gifts in gift bags! 😅
LOL I’m so tempted to do this!!!
I only get tattooed in black and red and all of my red tattoos look amazing ??? Idk sounds like a user problem to me for her lol
I neeed to know more about nose tattoos, those colored outlines and tattoos inside the mouth👁️👄👁️
A tattoo isn’t upside down if it’s right side up to you. It goes whichever way you want.
I hate gift wrapping. That's why I always go for gift bags 🎉❤
Not even remotely prepared for Christmas, emergency guft buying took place online last night, nevermind wrapping!!
I’ve only just finished my gift buying so you’re not alone 😂
Everything I wrap looks like a pillow. I don’t wrap. Gift bag or nothing.
Upsidedown tattoos are absolutely 👍 because yes, it is for you, what you want.
I loveeeeeee gift wrapping. Probs my favourite part of Christmas making it look cute with ribbon etc
I have heard Kirk Fagan on his channel, mention the problem with red lines a number of times, it does seem to be one of his gripes too.
I love your videos! You e taught me more about tattoos because my brother has many❤
I never would have noticed that the rose tattoos are upside down. I feel like roses (and a lot of other flowers) are recognizable and organic enough that orienting them in any direction would look fine and natural.
