Additionally if they did manage to destroy the Crystron, but weren’t able to make another Negate, it’d float into one of the monsters that was banished (either Baronne or Crystal Wing), making even harder to out for a deck that’s basically out of gas
Sometimes you want to draw Forbidden Droplet, sometimes you want to draw Dark Ruler No More. So for instance Herald stops Droplet but DRNM is kinda useless vs lingering effects.

I have only one gripe with the clips used here. Baronne de Fleur’s Synchro summon was a normal one, not an Accel Synchro. Accel Synchro requires both the Tuner *and* non-Tuner to be Synchro monsters. Baronne’s used a Synchro Tuner and a non-Synchro, making it a normal Synchro Summon, not an Accel Synchro. (Take a shot every time I said Synchro, you’ll probably pass out from alcohol poisoning)

I think it is because synchro decks cannot have a turn 3.
They put all the bullshit at turn 1 and if they lose them they cannot recover from that

Dark Ruler No More actually really does it against synchro monsters in particular now that I think of it, also never give up!
