Witchcrafter and True Draco's drawing power is more annoying than synchros special summoning for 5 minutes. At least with synchros, it's within the grounds of the event so it's expected. Lol
I'd rather have Witchcrafter and True Draco's drawing power with their turns taking only a couple of minutes at most than the endless special summon spam combos that take 10 minutes
The time difference between Witchcrafter doing what's seen in the video, which is about the most you could expect of them, and your average synchro combo is night and day. Most synchro combos both take longer and present more oppressively powerful card effects. Maybe you just find the former more annoying because it isn't your cup of excessively sweetened tea.
how can anyone find Verre negate and steroid once per turn, more annoying than stardust into shooting star, into baron all the while taking a full 8 minutes off my life leaving me with an empty board and no moves for next turn. They do have the same gameplan of "make your opponent pass, endphase" but most GOOD decks can play through the first negate anyways
Okay, wtf was that player doing??? First at 0:32, he set Magician’s Right Hand instead of activating it? Why on earth would anyone not activate it for a free negate? And second, he didn’t use Potterie to summon Haine from the deck before the end of the main phase? Why would he even summon her with 0 attack if he was just going to wait for her to be destroyed? If he would’ve summoned Haine, she couldn’t discarded a spell during the battle phase to pop Drei. It’s like this player wanted to lose.
And he clearly had the spells to activate everything. Three spells in hand is more than enough for the Haine summon, the haine pop, and Verre's negate/atk boost.
Or maybe he google-ed meta decks in synchro festival (true draco / witchcrafter probably) and just played it right away without fully comprehending witchcrafters' effects. If he is skilled, maybe that mistake would be avoidable
