Actually if you think about it better, If when we die that means that we cease to exist, then leaving a legacy it's still pointless. Either we leave a legacy or not, from our perspective would be the same. And not only that but from our perspective we will just suffer all our life to work hard to leave a legacy but when this goal is achieved and the legacy is indeed left in our memory, we wont know it and it won't have any impact on us as we will not exist anymore. The truth is that the only thing that matters is God and the purpose of life is Theosis and it can be achieved and taught only through Orthodox Christianity, from this life and then to the afterlife. Just check it out and give some thought to it if you want, you don't have anything to lose.
