Overtraining is common for those who take ‘special’ substances. While you can train like them, your body will require more than your usual supplements. That level of 'overtraining' is specific to those who are using such substances 💉
Overtraining isn't common but happens in endurance sports. It's exceedingly rare to have it caused by hypertrophy training. It's a serious enough condition that causes a serious dip in performance for months, maybe years, maybe permanently. The word gets misused pretty often
Exactly, he did not train like this year round. He was also taking the most steroids during this phase in training, but he wasnt using as much/any during the off-seasons
Y es una suerte que así sea! Porque casi todos ejercicios, con la espalda encorvada de esa manera atroz y con semejante bamboleo son destructores de columnas vertebrales
Using steroids had absolutely nothing to do with mental strength. Maybe even the opposite? Using something so you can train like an animal and not be sore. That's not mental strength. Yes, he was goal oriented. Stamina. Long term mindset. Don't forget the drugs help with your mindset as well. Higher testosterone had shown to even change behaviour and interest of men.

Yes I agree arnold could have done it in less sets but he didn't train like that every week. The closer to compition the more volume he would do, off season he did less volume and was smaller. Arnold was unique and he built himself up into compition like kevin levrone I have seen on videos and interviews and books. If I trained like arnold I would overtrain and get weaker
And, it cost him 3 open heart surgeries, because of taking 90 mg Dianabol per day for 4 months straight with Sustanon and Masteron, and this and that... and the other 6 months he was totally out of shape... suddenly, I caught up with him at 72, but trained his arm program 1974... still, in my opinion the most beautiful bodybuilder of all times (after Frank Zane) :D

@@neox9369 You are correct about just one thing.. you are NOTHING like me.. and never will be.
@@danielmontgomery6234 FACTS, wouldn’t want to be ….mind blown at this revelation..
Yesterday I did 36 sets for chest and today I'm destroyed. And I didn't went to failure in all exercises.
He is real Hercules bro
Overtraining+overresting=overgrowth
A living legend!
Overtraining is common for those who take ‘special’ substances. While you can train like them, your body will require more than your usual supplements. That level of 'overtraining' is specific to those who are using such substances 💉
Always the gay guy
Overtraining isn't common but happens in endurance sports. It's exceedingly rare to have it caused by hypertrophy training. It's a serious enough condition that causes a serious dip in performance for months, maybe years, maybe permanently. The word gets misused pretty often

Great Work.
What interview is this?
Not said is the insane Arnold workouts were when he was getting into contest shape.
Exactly, he did not train like this year round. He was also taking the most steroids during this phase in training, but he wasnt using as much/any during the off-seasons
This is real hard-core old school work outs most don't see any more in gyms ❤
Y es una suerte que así sea! Porque casi todos ejercicios, con la espalda encorvada de esa manera atroz y con semejante bamboleo son destructores de columnas vertebrales
cette Homme représente la Volonté de réussir !!! This Man represents the Will to succeed!!!
This us the definition of FOMO lifting where you uust throw everything at the wall and see what sticks, recovery and efficiency be damned.
35 sets for just the back is insane!
The greatest Arms and Chest EVER!
Bro science at its finest 😂
This is mental strength as well as physical... In my opinion...
The one and only Arnold
Look how he does rows. Full movement. Not afraid to lean into it, or bending back. Beautiful.
Arnold already did 25 Sets on Back alone but then He remembered Frank Zanes words and did 15 more sets 😂
THIS MAN WAS SIMPLY THE BEST 😊😅😊
Now people will comment about Mike and Arnie controversial talks bla bla bla. Might both are correct in some way. I know the one thing that Arnie side chest pose poster inspired me a lot in my youth every damn day!!!
Much Love and Respect for Both ❤❤❤ Legends
good examples💯
Dude arnold is in gym all day whilst ronnie and everyone else doing 1 hour sessions
It seems like waste of time
Because they just did whatever and saw if it worked or not.
anything over 1hr is for mental health nothing else.

Fact is I prefer Arnold's physique to Ronnie's physique .
Prime Arnold looked way better than Ronnie ever did.
Rule no. 1: if you’re natural, don’t listen to anything that Arnold says. The more you get into bodybuilding, the more you realize that Arnold didn’t want nobody else to win so he gave BS advice to almost everyone
Ronnie Coleman called Arnold the greatest body builder of all time. Can't argue with the other GOAT
YEEEES 👍👍👍👍👍👍
🤘💪👍👍👍
He had a beautiful physique
jeff nippard - "well arnold, you and frank didn't know what you were doing, the science says"
That was a very dumb thing that you just said.
You don't need science to understand this is ridiculous overtraining. Only worked for Arnold cause he had insane genetics + lots of steroids
The true example of that talent wins the tecnic and perfection
35 sets but pyramid up in wieght so not all the sets were max wieght and intensity, i may do 20 plus sets per workout but only half or 10 are the real work sets
Bro that’s a lot of junk volume 💀
Warm up sets aren't junk volume. If they are, your work capacity is trash
Bro I disagree. Sorry but 35 sets is insane and for sure if you witnessed it half of those sets could’ve been scrapped
@@perman07then it’s way too much warmup
Until now the best builder ever.
That Era had a different charisma ❤❤❤
