    To help with the darkness in the bag….buy a tiny light and attach it to the key ring….Travalon does this and it’s a good idea…especially if you do night outings with your bag.

    • @okayestfamilytravels

      Thanks! The bag is neoprene, so it’s very water resistant, but because of the zippers, not completely waterproof. They’re running a 25% off sale right now on the website. The code is in the banner.

    You can fill your water bottle with ice. It is not considered a liquid. We have been doing this for the past few years.

      This is obviously subjective… if you have another bag that works for you. You have to focus on the actual topic not the price of HER bag 🙄

      Sure!
      1 c distilled water
      1 c witch hazel
      1 tsp conditioner
      2 drops essential oil (optional. Lavender, grapefruit, lemon, or tea tree)
      Combine in a spray bottle and shake very well.

    Question: I have a water bottle that I carry with me at all times. So I go thru bag check, then when I’m at my boarding destination I can fill up my water bottle? Every time I do this, I have to dump out the liquid contents. Why? You said that once you cross TSA, you can fill up the bottle?? Flying next month & I really clarification on this? TIA…

    • @okayestfamilytravels
      @okayestfamilytravels  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For US domestic flights, you need to go through TSA security with an empty water bottle, and then once you have cleared security and are in the terminal, you can fill up the bottle before you board your flight. (most airports have at least one filling station/water fountain near the bathrooms)

      That applies to international flights too. Unless you’ve got a baby or toddler then there’s different rules.

    Every flight ive been on, they will not let you put a bag underneath a seat. I have been on 8 flights and they have made me put it in the overhead bin

    • @okayestfamilytravels
      @okayestfamilytravels  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’d suggest getting a smaller bag. The one I use in this video fits under all US airline seats.

    • @ToriE1073
      @ToriE1073 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Do you always sit in an exit row? If so that’s probably why, otherwise I agree that your bag is probably too big. Next time you fly pop over to your airlines website and get their size requirements. Most domestic flights here in the US are something like 17x14x8 but you should always check the website.
