    Thanks for the update.
    I have a Trail 570 and I really like the tires. I don't typically bury myself in mud but in all other areas they really move some dirt. Even in a few inches of mud they really throw it. The tread is so deep on them.

      Yes. The Duro Powergrip is much better than the CST tire on most Polaris ATVs.

      I ordered mine March 3rd, was delivered to my house April 9th, with every accessory I ordered except the heated hand and thumb warmers! I hope you get a call within a month's time! I just love my 570 Trail! I have hand gaurds, rear rack extender, body armor, and the heated hand and thumb warmers that are back ordered, the dealership gave me a instock date of May 15th! The waiting is the hardest part! Tom Petty! Congrats and good luck with your 570 Trail

    Hello there, which one do you think is better 570 or 850??

    • @PapaC-ej3kz
      @PapaC-ej3kz  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the price difference isn't an issue, I feel you get quite a bit more machine with the 850. The frame is beefier and it rides and handles more solidly. As for power, besides it being quite a bit quicker/faster, you don't feel like you have to work it as hard to ride at an aggressive pace. The belt box is also less susceptible to water/debris getting in.

  • @thestepfather2958
    @thestepfather2958 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How is the ride quality between the two machines. Is the 850 a better ride. Suspension wise?

    • @PapaC-ej3kz
      @PapaC-ej3kz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In my opinion, yes. They are both plenty comfortable, but the 850 feels more stable and composed. The 850 seat is much more plush which helps with comfort as well.

    Did you know you can fit the 1000 s models fender flares on it, it adds 3” and it stops the mud sling on you and the sides. Just order the same year as yours.

    Thinking about getting a 570 trail myself. Been doing some research and found some people are having problems with where the cvt intake is. Have you had any problems with water or debris getting in it?

    • @PapaC-ej3kz
      @PapaC-ej3kz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A bit of mud splashed in by the opening but not really any further. I have the cvt exhaust from a 2019 that goes up under the seat, but haven't installed it

      @charlesthompson5150 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had the belt slip due to water down the cvt exhaust. Quick fix was to rotate the 90 deg discharge hose under the seat. Havent had a problem since.

    • @PapaC-ej3kz
      @PapaC-ej3kz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have added some pieces of ABS pipe to the cvt exhaust so it exits where the rear storage bin would have been on earlier models. I had the pieces around and it seemed easier than adapting the earlier ductwork. Have been through water nearly to the top of the tires and have had no problems. I will include that mod in a future video

    How much power difference is there between them? I know what the numbers are but I mean is the 570 left behind a lot? I'm coming from a brute force 750 I didn't know if the 850 was worth the extra cost over the 570?

    • @PapaC-ej3kz
      @PapaC-ej3kz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In tight trails the 570 works great and it handles and rides great. That said, for me personally, I appreciate the extra power. Since it is a twin and the 570 is a single, the 850 is considerable smoother too. The 850 is built tougher too, the frame tubes are larger round tube vs smaller square tube. If you are coming from the Brute Force, I would say the 850 is a better choice. Not saying the 570 isn't a great machine....my wife loves it

    Trying to figure out what parts are needed for the older style cvt exhaust. Do you have the part numbers?

    • @PapaC-ej3kz
      @PapaC-ej3kz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Part number for the duct is 5451155
      You will need to come up with some kind of rubber or silicone coupler. You also have to heat up one spot and "dent" it in for it to fit. The belt box has changed so its not a direct fit. I am currently fitting some ABS elbows to ours so it ends up where the toolbox would have been

    Would the 570 keep up with the 850 in the trails?

    • @PapaC-ej3kz
      @PapaC-ej3kz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In tighter sections like in the woods, yes. It moves along pretty well up to 40mph. Once the trail opens up then the 850 walks away. It depends on the pace you want to ride. The more aggressive the pace, the bigger the difference gets. The trail version of the 570 handles very well so it gives you confidence in the bumpy corners. My wife rides ours mostly and she loves it

    • @PapaC-ej3kz
      @PapaC-ej3kz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@brianb1767 I really enjoy riding the 570. I went for an 8hr ride with it in October. You can hustle it through turns and the suspension is great. Only in wide open areas do I prefer the 850. The 570 feels a bit more agile in technical stuff while the 850 has the power to turn some bigger tires to be superior in the mud and faster overall. You feel the 850s extra weight when you throw it around turning side to side and during braking. They both have different personalities, but the 570 is quite fun and plenty powerful
