I did it in 2019 and this time too. The crowds were SO INCREDIBLE THIS YEAR! Didn’t think it could get much better than 2019, but despite the weather being gnarly, the crowds were just AMAZING!!! Was about to quit at around 37k and they started calling my name and I somehow made it to the end! Still not sure how, and I got a PB 🤷‍♂️👌🏃💪

2:43 with a camera is insane!! i managed 4:09 with 4 months of training and a 6 week injury in between and was in pieces by the end. your time should never be understimated and you 100% should be proud of both your commitment, dedication and achievement to the day. well run Ben.

Fantastic job Ben! Congratulations. And oh my god, what are the odds of this. I just ran Boston last week. I used your Advanced Marathon Training Plan for the second time to train for it. My finish time on my watch was EXACTLY the same as yours at 2:43:10, and my official time for Boston was EXACTLY the same as yours for London at 2:43:07!! What are the odds of that!

Glad you were fit and able to run in the end, excellent time well done 👍🏼👍🏼

I've worked very hard but this wouldn't have happened with you/Sarah/Shane. Thank you mate!

Ben, I found it so difficult to watch this and not cry!! What great footage you got. I completed the London Marathon for the first time and oh my, it did not disappoint.
I’d only ever ran a 5km race before doing the marathon and I wasn’t able to train as much as I would have liked to due to injury. But was so pleased to get a time of 4 hours 1 minute despite this (I didn’t take into consideration the extra distance I would end up doing on the day to get around people, and high five the crowd, when planning my pacing. So close to that sub 4). As a running and marathon novice, I attribute my whole food plant based diet to my success on the day and my great recovery. I’ve been back on the netball court and back at CrossFit this week despite pushing my body to its limits on Sunday.
Thank you for all your content, it was invaluable in helping me to prepare for the big day. And thank you for being such a great advocate for veganism #plantpower!!!

Great to see more and more people out running and also out supporting the runners. The crowds in Paris were fantastic and certainly were equally great in London. Have put my name in the lottery for London - may have to pay more through a tour to finally get in.

Hi Ben, you are an absolute legend. I ran in the London Marathon as well on Sunday. It is almost impossible to describe the noise all along the street - I felt over whelmed at stages. It was just an amazing experience. Cramps got to my right calf and caused all sorts of issues for me. I could only run / walk from mile 16. Reflecting back, it may have been due to leg strength, hydration, number of runners affecting my natural stride length etc. All of which I am looking to put right for the next marathon. I will also look to use your training plan. Thank you for doing what you do. It is helping so many people.

Great video Ben. Obviously there are loads of these every year but this one made it really feel like you were there! Inspiring!

First ever London and I was simply overwhelmed by the support. On all the official pictures all you can see is a smile on my face. Greenwich was loud, Tower Bridge was crazy but Canary Wharf was insane. Well done all for getting it done.

Awesome running Ben. I ran it virtually wearing one of your Ben Parkes caps and having trained to your online plan and made my first sub 4 Hrs; 3:45. So pleased 🎉

I ran past you going opposite way. I was amazed as I looked at the time and figured you must be around there then you sailed by. Told myself it was just a little lap of Canary Wharf then I’m on the home stretch too. 3rd marathon attempt and finally broke 4 hours - over the moon with 3:48.

Well done Ben! I'm sure you'll get that championship time soon. I'm also targetting a sub-2:40 later this year at Melbourne and would definitely love to do London in the coming years

I was at Cutty Sark when you flew by! Was supporting 2 friends for their first marathon (one in Ben Parkes merch 😁) and they were amazing 🤩. Loved every minute supporting. Great video Ben! Maybe see you next year!🎉

My first London this year, and my second marathon race. What a rush! The crowds were insane. No PB for me... I went out too hard... completely by accident... ran my fasctest ever 400 accidentally about mile 3... and paid for it in the end. Totally loved it though and would urge everyone to get themselves in the ballot. Great video Ben!

Brilliant well done to both you & Sarah 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🎉🏅 we were there cheering on friends at mile 13 & 22 & we saw you go past looking strong at 13 but missed you at 22 🙈 such a fantastic event I did it in 2021 very slowly because I was injured but it’s a dream to do it again & run it - love your content, your advice is relatable to all runners 👍🏻😁
