“I’ve. Been. ROBBED.” Makes me laugh every time. I love the wholesome, sometimes surrealistic humor you bring to your videos and art.

The fish add so much life to the scene and the light ripple paint job looks bomb! Deeply unsettled by the fleshy pink of the crinoids, though. Feathers as the arms was a great touch.

    • @Kayakasaurus

Thanks, the fish turned out to be my favorite part too, and they were the easiest part to make lol

As a Crinoid enthusiast, you had me on the edge of my seat right until the very end. I should never have doubted you would add in the rest of the tentacles! The diorama looks amazing!

I can’t even wrap my head around how cool this is. It looks like a painting, the shading and everything, but it’s 3D?! Honestly gorgeous, you are insanely talented.

No idea what possessed you to make a diorama inside the gutted carcass of an iphone but I'm so here for it. This turned out amazing especially with the really limited depth.

This turned out amazing! It feels like your creativity knows no bounds! I think the resin still looks great, even if it wasn't the color you were going for. It adds even more of a true ocean feel since there's typically a blue color tone to things underwater in real life.

Fantastic as always, just a little observation, Trilobites are amongst the coolest extinct arthropods, but they never lived with ammonites. the last of them disappeared since 252 millions of years at the Permian-triassic extinction. Ammonites are typical of mesozoic. Cheers

what if you turned this into a series where you made progressively newer phones with dioramas of progressively more recent natural history? like the iphone 4 could be the triassic (assuming this is the permian) then the iphone 5 could be the jurrasic, etc. You could even go backwards and do the carboniferous, devonian ordovician, etc. I think this would be cool (but it might be expensive to get the latest phone models). Either way I loved this video and I hope you had a good year and will have a good 2024 :).

pretty awesome christmas gift, loved it!
my only unsolicited critique (because for no good reason, it’s bothering me) is the ammonite ejecting bubbles, since it doesn’t breathe air it should just be a jet of water, a few bubbles may be warranted but definitely not so many as if the bubbles were the thing propelling it…
i just really had to get that off my chest 💀 that being said, i absolutely loved the video dude, can never pass up on your content. i would love to see more of these “little” (though i bet still time consuming and tedious) projects, shadow-box or diorama-style however you want to call it.
