Beautifully designed pond. Looks like a very relaxing outdoor place. You should be happy with this accomplishment. Your skimmer is very mesmerizing to watch without a cover. Happy subscriber #26.
Nice video again. I have the same skimmer in my pond, but it was an even later decision to add it (3yrs after first making my pond!), but wouldn't be without it now. I sat it a little bit too low when I retro fitted it, which means I have to balance running my pond too low, with optimising how effectively the skimmer works. I wish I'd added an overflow like yours too, but I'd have a problem with where to run it too. Thanks again for the vid, lots to consider.
Thanks, yea I'm pleased I can run it high just to prevent adding as much water in the summer. I ran the overflow to a gravel sump pit/French drain. Easy to dig and cheap 👍
Thanks, I'm so glad I put it in. I cannot say I chose this skimmer for any other than availability as there were so few options here in the UK, that said I'm am very pleased with it 👍
Do you need to attach this skimmer to your pump or is this completely independent. My swimski 25 has broken after 10 months and I'm looking for something more robust.
@@ecosystemkoi9159 I can't find the pump on its own. When I search for the aqua eco 12000 lph it only shows the submersible units not the pump on its own.
@@noodles74 all internal pond pumps come with a big removable outer casing that protects a small power head inside. Only external pond pumps tend to have non removable casings but they tend to be very expensive.

Thanks for your kind words 🙂
The ponds still looking beautiful even with the colder weather 👌👍
Looking forward to seeing it through its first year and seeing the changes 👍

Great video my friend. Pond looks great.. Like this skimmer so much more than mine. Mine is a Laguna.. Kind of a eyesore.

@@ecosystemkoi9159 works way better than mine but when I replace my liner in the next couple years will make some changes
New sub. Nice natural looking pond
Thanks 👍😍
Very nice ! can you please also show how it is working inside the pump slot ?
Hi, do you mean how the pump is fitted in the bottom of the skimmer?
is the bog natural or do you have a pump going to it? the pond is so clear for the size of it. looks awesome!
Ok I fond it 12000 👍
How big is the pump
Do have any trouble with your fish getting into the skimmer?
Hi, occasionally a goldfish might but not for some time, I have a rock in front of the opening now too so larger koi cannot fit 👍🐟
@@ecosystemkoi9159 Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, much appreciated. 👍

Hi, with this Skimmer the pump sits inside the Skimmer box itself, hope this helps 👍 🐟
@@ecosystemkoi9159 ah I see, I take my existing Oase pump out of its shell and place into this one? So this does not come with electrical pump.
@@deianaugustus1 Correct, you would need an adaptor to connect to the Skimmer outlet from your pump, some pumps come with on already others don't 👍🐟
@@ecosystemkoi9159 hmm, lot of money for a plastic box, may stick with the Swimskim but upgrade to the 50 👍🏼
Pond looks 👌
Do you have a pump at the bottom of the skimmer ?
Thanks, yea it's an Aqua Eco 12000 👍
What size pump are you using for that mate?
It an Aqua Eco 12000 lph, it runs everything really well 👍

@@oliverskinner8962 Yh i realised after the pump was inside the casing. Thanks.
