Another great vid,.I hope others appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a fishery.. I have two stocked ponds neither of which are commercial run but are for my own pleasure with a couple of friends. It's amazing how little time I can make to actually fish myself as so much time is spent maintaining the grounds and defences against all the predation problems we have.
Many thanks Peter, yeh its a lot of work that for sure, but very rewarding. For me it is all about the investment in the right machines, without the big tractor, excavators, dumper and buggy it would all have taken years and years. I certainly haven't been fishing as much as I like to, but I do have a big year planned. I have 4 weeks at Rainbow and another 3 weeks at a super venue, so things are looking up hahahahahaha.
Hello Mark, I am using a scarecrow to keep the Cormorants of my lake. The ones that move a little bit in the wind are the best! Another solution is a good old gasexploder. Will cost you around 200 euro's...Best regards Robert
I made a standup scarecrow and I have one in a boat that floats about, but one that moves in the wind would be awesome. Could you send me a link for the ones you have please Robert.
Another nice video, but no Oscar yet. Maybe consider dangling a few cds from the strings across the stock ponds to further deter cormorants. Look forward to the next installment. All the best.
@@dmez9403 they are on there Dave, I had heaps of them, but they keep being blown around and spinning up right to the main tape. I will get more on there again though as they definitely work 👍
