Opal Lodge Lake fantastic place. I spent a weekend there last summer with my crazy fisherman husband. Very scenic and homely. He caught lots of fish and I had quality down time!!!
What the snow made difficult in regards to the fishing, it MOREEEE than made up for in atmosphere it gave to the place, it was such a lovely stay! Can't recommend it enough :)
it’s storm eowyn right now and scotlands got the worse of it, which of course just so happens to be where i live, halfway through this video my tree fell down and my power is out 😂

This place is awesome in the summer!! Sturgeon, carp, monster chub and beautiful scenery. Perfect fishing get away!!!
I can’t wait to get back there and see it at its best!!! I’d love to go after the chub at some point too :-)
