Kind of felt like he was calling her out for having a toxic view of relationships. It definitely felt like that when she asked him to "try Ashton", and the whole table had a reaction. Now that I’m part of the Monday crew I have to contend with the weeks where there’s no new episodes 🥲 thank god there’s recaps to stave off the withdrawal!
this episode is a top 5 episodes of critical role for sure. preparations for a deadly mission, speeches, titles and finally someone appreciating the art of chentey beyond the gifts for the party. i loved it. RTA TILL THE END
The thing i love about the Braius stuff with the Platinum Dragon is it can go either way. He could genuinly turn to the PD. But I can't think of something Asmodeus would find funnier than one of his worshipers lying thier way into being a false hero for a Prime Deity.
In the cool down for episode 104 Matt talked about them all jumping between their different players during the three pronged attack. I’m not sure if that meant one shots or doing multiple characters in an episode but I am here for it either way!
@@Luboffin thats gonna be one hectic session fair play, I think one shots would be easier but maybe they'll summarise the events and do key rolls or something to keep it easy and shorter if not? I dunno but also, GIMME IT ALL!😂
I'd like to think that Kiki is cribbing from Percy's playbook to get a room full of high-and-mighty political types to listen by giving them titles. I think it's a fun little detail!
I don’t understand why they are wandering off to other areas? I probably just missed it, but wasn’t the plan for the three groups to attack together? Shouldn’t they just go do that?
The plan was to attack 3 key points simultaneously. A full assault on one just means the other two have time to reinforce, giving Ludie more time to free Predathos. The logic is that a three-pronged simultaneous strike is more likely to succeed as it keeps Ludinus' forces scattered and separated.
@@TitaniaBird Right. Thank you! That's what I thought they were saying. So, why is there now a discussion of "where should we go?" Why wander off the Fey-Wild (not sure of spelling) when they need to get to that secret portal location in the lake?
Personally i would love if Ashton was really in love with Fearn and wouldn't be okey with her being with others. I really want in party drama. I think we didn't have much besides Laudna/Imogen stuff. Besides them the whole campaign seemed like the characters doesn't have much emotional conlfict going on.
Not much conflict? There has been so much that they had episodes to address it with them doing trials to come together as a group. There was the whole thing with Ashton and the shard where Chet almost left the group, Orym and laudna fight over the sword, Imogen's struggle with her mother, the struggle over the pull of the moon, Dorians whole thing going on and so on I could keep on going...it is everywhere.
@@chriswolfinger6638 Mhh you are right. I don't know those never felt chatartic for me. I had this feeling trought the whole campaign, that characters don't communicate enough and things just keep happening to them, but they don't really talk about it.
@@pekvanc5354 I feel like they have talked a decent amount about Imogen and her mom, as well as laudna and Delilah.I think ashton's story will be more after the final battles if he survives and what not. Still alot of mystery around fern that probably hasn't been talked about enough, chet has 400 years of history and hasn't been touched on near as much as i feel it should being given his age. FCG got about an episode and a half after his death happened but kinda feels swept under the rug. I also wonder and hope that we get more back story from doomseed. Dorian i think we dont get much from not sure if that is cause there might not be many episodes left or cause robbie isnt fully caught up with the campaign.
everyone going "Who?" when the Mighty Nine were mentioned was hilarious

“Guy who makes chairs” really got me. Keep up the good work Luna!
The Braius/Fearne convo had me dying. Ashley and Sam are comedic geniuses and I love the way they roleplay the dynamic

It took me way too long to realize that the C-Poppers were created by Nana Morri as part of her deal with Chetney.
Right?! And if he doesn’t follow through with his part of the bargain I wonder what will happen 😬
This episode had THE best speeches from each character. God damnit they're all such amazing players
It was great seeing them all stepping up
"Don't forget to like, comment, and prescribe. Bidet!"
Loving the recaps again 🎉🎉
Definitely feel called out with the C Poppers 😄 iv got a chetney sticker on my phone 😅

There’s a brewery where I play dnd, and next door is “Chetney’s” a shoe store. I figure they must make clogs 😂
I hope once all of this is done, we visit Pop-con! That would be the best closer to the campaign :)
Yes! It would be really fun
Your recaps are so great! You pick out the best parts to replay and your commentary is perfection. Thank you!!
That CR episode was awesome and so was this recap. Thank you
Thank you for the heart.
When you say orym ang chet's photo came up, THE THEORIES! lol
luna you really did that on purpose, now when you said chetney, it's orym's photo lol
Bahaha oops 😅
Yay for this episode recap. :) First time I'm this early!
I wonder if the Bright Queen can commune with spirits inside the beacon on her staff...
Ooh that would be pretty cool. That whole scene with Chetney and the staff was hilarious 😅
Love these videos each week! Please keep them going if possible
I love your breakdowns! I love this story and this group, but without these breakdowns, I wouldn't know what the heck is going on!
Every time i watch these i remember something i missed or didn't interpret well , thank you!

If the cast get to play Vox Machina and the Mighty Nein again, I will lose my mind lol

New theory with little evidence besides the fact that it would be funny: Wayland is Orym’s father and that’s why he had a few CPOP toys
So is Braius an oath breaker for Bahamut or Asmodeus?
We're getting VM and MN one shots for this right? Right? PLEASE RIGHT?

I am I just fell behind these episodes. I should have reaction/review videos for future episodes ☺️
Lol dam calling out fear on love life lol
So does Dorian's equine dragon have the body of a dragon with the head of a horse? Or is it the body of a horse with the head of a dragon?
I kind of pictured it as a dragon but in the shape of a horse 😅
I thought of the Asian ki’rin.

Hey, I was like number 69!

They have a week until the three teams attack simultaneously. So the feywild is in two days and something they can do in the interim.
@@GeeMones Oh...that's the part I didn't hear....that there was a "D-Day a week from now" decision. Cool!
