I have tryouts today and tomorrow and I am terrified and I will let you guys know tomorrow if I made it ( AFTER TRYOUTS) I did not make it me and none of my friends did
I have my first day of tryouts today. I have gone to every conditioning the coach offered except one there will be 50-55 girls showing up and only 12-13 girls are making each team. First year at my new school as a sophmore. Leave encouragement below.

updating everyday of tryouts starting the 8th 😕 update 1: ITS THE NIGHT BEFORE TRYOUTS N I AM SO SCARED. ive been practicing overhand serving 😭😭 update 2: js finished day 1, im not very confident tbh n some of the girls were a bit overwhelming n mean 🙁👎 i think i did decent enough update 3: Day 2 of tryouts and teams will be decided thursday. it went horrible, none of my hits even went over net. im gonna try harder tmrw and not focus on my thoughts but playing 😭🙄 update 4: Day 3 and teams will be decided tmrw or friday. I played volleyball in 8th grade only, with no other experience. I only got on the team because I have a natural advantage (height, 5''11 at 13). I had a really good season and I want to try out for the high school volleyball team this year for freshmen, I didn't practice volleyball after my 8th-grade season ended though because I was busy with basketball, though I only practiced my serves and receiving for a bit. Is it still possible for me to make it?
Hey there! it's fs possible, if you stay consistent enough with volleyball before tryouts you may get on the team! (depending on when they are) It also depends on how many people are trying out/skill level. You can get on the team fs but the real question is.. are you willing to work hard enough to improve? And are you coachable and a good team player?
i went to every summer conditioning and weight lifting offered, so i am familiar with the coach and most players. today was the last open gym, and there were like 20 new girls. i was so nervous lol, since i am an upcoming freshman too. but tryouts start tomorrow and i’ll know by thursday so!! wish me luck!!

My volleyball club does do callbacks so if I’m bad I’ll be kicked out! 😭😭 Update: I made all callbacks but got cut out because they already made their teams up before tryouts. The coaches already told the athletes on the first day so the rest of the days were just checking their level. Am I a little upset/confused, yeah. 🤷♀️

I have try outs in a week and I have stopped playing for 6 years, really hoping I could get to the team as a setter or a service specialist. I really hope i could make it We are expecting atleast 50 players on my campus but the entire like university has 150+ players trying out so pray for me EDIT: It is possible to have 100 players since there are more than 200 members of our group and they said that they will only get 25😭

(The formation numbers so the setter knows where to set the ball)
You’re expected to know because it’ll make it easier for hitting lines etc. it depends on how you play though but it’s better to know the numbers then to not

8/14/22 I have tryouts tomorrow, kind of nervous. I’ll update it when I get the results back :) Day 1: I think I did really good we did some basic passing drills, and a few short games. Day 2: Not so good, I’m not as good at serving, I find out what team I’m on tomorrow. Day 3: I’m actually finding out what team I’m on Friday. Today was okay it was good, not as bad as Tuesday. Day 4: Today was really good and fun, I’m excited but nervous to find out what team I make. I’ll probably make b or c but either way I’ll be happy with it :). I’ll tell you what team I make 🙃 I made c team. Not to happy about it but there where a lot of girls so it makes a bit of sense. If I work really hard though I can get moved up to B team :D

6’0 14 left handed here ngl Im a really good jumper can get my head above the net and I don’t really play I just wait for my friends to be done since I’m not on the team I just wait intill there done I just watch on the sidelines and they always want me to join in ngl it’s fun but gets annoying since they expect me to always hit over I can but I’m more of a setter ngl
