Pro tip for ya. Axels on those old bikes, lots of them are interchangeable between years even tho they are a totally different bike. Speed and sport Yamaha out of Pensilvania is the place to go for parts and if they don’t have it you’ll at least be able to get part numbers to cross reference with other bikes. Good luck with the build! You actually have a solid bike.

What is that brake cable that comes out of the rear part of the tranny for?? What does it go connected to ??
