When to do a ACL Surgery.
Many patients have asked us about when to operate in case of ACL injury. There is a lot of questions asked regarding this topic. There is a lot of controversy regarding this topic. Many old studies suggested that it is good to wait for 6 weeks . But now as per recent studies that proove that there is no role of prolong waiting in the ACL Surgery. Ideally investigations should be performed if you sustain a knee injury. MRI is mandatory and it will clear all the doubts regarding the extent of injury and procedutre to be planned. There is no need to rush or get a surgery in panic. A patient is adviced to plan the surgery at there convenience. The surgery of ACL should not be delayed as well because delay may lead to more injury to the knee, in form of arthritic changes or meniscal tears.

· Avulsion fracture involving posterior cruciate ligament. Fracture line extends to involves lateral tibial plateau.
· Moderate lipohemarthrosis.
· Grade II hyperintensity in anterior horn of lateral meniscus.
· Mildly contused edematous posterior cruciate ligament.
· Mild soft tissue edema surrounding the knee joint.
· Mild contused edematous lateral collateral ligament.
Mild interstitial edema noted in anterior cruciate ligament.
· Bone contusion with marrow edema in lateral tibial plateau.

Hi Aaj hi mri report mili hai ACL high grade partial tear and pcl partial tear hai but mujhe kuch khas pain nahi hota hai bus knee ke back me bend karte waqt pain hota hai like ki koi nerves block hai. Dr ne operation ke liye bola hai. History ye the my right leg knee come out in right direction and loose joint of both legs but time ke sath theek ho gaya but after corona bohot pressure padhra tha shin bone par isliye dr ko dikhaya but result ACL pcl tear. My knee report is as:-
There is compression fracture of lateral tibial plateau with sclerosis of subarticular trabeculac and depression by 5.7mm.
There is 7x8mm sized osseous fragment along the anterior aspect of intercondylar notch likely representing of osseous avulsion anterior cruciate ligament.
Moderate liphemarthrosis is seen.
Incomplete fracture is seen of the posteromedial aspects of proximal fibula.
Maintained femoro-tibial, patellofemedial and proximal tibiofibular joint congruous.
