What shrimps pls
@@racerx6247😊😊
It doesn’t work for me
As someone who tried to keep shrimp and had them all die, I'm finally glad I know the reason, it was their fault!
yes xD
Oh wooooow
I tried twice, was gonna try again but gave up, which i saw this vid earlier😂
U noob. I have like 200 shrimp easily.@@bushman5.567
Only one of mine lived😢 He is a bad A, though, and literally changed to a darker color to blend in to the substrate.
This honestly explains so much as an impoverished kpop and country-listening male minority
hahaha
Minority where? This racist said "visible minority" as an American, implying only Whites can be racist. But, on a global scale, White people are the minority 🤔
Stay strong king🫡💪💪(*add Tate-like qoute here)
The worst she can say is no.
Shrimp: *dies*
OH GOD- 😂

We don't talk about him
I knew it. They dont even need Calcium.
Now we need to have a video about how to get your shrimp to like you
😂
LOL
At minimum you need to be white and rich👀
What if I'm black BUT I'm a girl
Be a rich white woman
There are two types of shrimp: pretty shrimp you want to thrive who jump out of the one little gap in your tank's lid just to spite you, or a boring clear shrimp that's lived at least 3 years longer than it was supposed to purely because it knows you don't want a tank anymore but not enough to kill the shrimp to get rid of the leaky old thing.
😂
Get a few new shrimp ina new tank and he'll die 2 days later
My shrimp bit me while I was scraping the algae of the glass
I didn’t even know they could bite hard enough for you to feel it. I know some can punch really hard but…
Yeah, you were taking their food...
You needed a search warrant
@@riverstein7251 One dropkicked my tweezers and I got scared.
My shrimp attacked my betta while he was sleeping 💀
I’m sorry, but animal that hates Dolly Parton has no place in my heart.
that’s so real
There's a reason you buy a tank to store it, after all..
YEAH I LOVE ❤️ DOLLY PARTON TOO.
“Well. I don’t like my owner. Guess I’ll just die.”
Why is bro spitting fax💀💀💀😭
they also don't like spitting
@@FishForThought rip💀
@@RED_RNGRHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA💀
too many or too big water changes can kill them too. but yeah any swings in any parameter can shock them. i don’t test my water at all but they are pretty happy because I don’t mess with tanks and neglect them instead. tbh i only change water to clean the calcium buildup lol
I’ve had a small group of amano and chocolate shrimp for almost a year now and still wake up every day scared they will be dead lol. They’re so fragile!!!
i actually learned a lot here. i went low tech on a shrimp colony and it survived for a couple years with no issues even with minimal water changes. unfortunately, they just recently died off.... i may have been playing some kpop but i noticed a lot of worms. i will definitely look into better quality food options for the next tank build. thank you for the tips FFT!
so, Chris is a shrimp.
btw i have a tank full of yellow pumpkin shrimps in a small circular (40-60 gal) concrete tank outside, it has Foxtail Plant in it and is kept in a reasonably shadowy place. i bought 12 of'em but right now there are 100's if not 1000's of them. i have even sold more than 100-200 i think.
you got a shrimp factory there😂
@@zayeemsavage6488 we got all year round production, as i live in a tropical country we don't need heaters or anything. It just happens on it's own
@@petzIndiadotcom ow ur from india,,i am from Bangladesh
I got 4 amano shrimp 2 years ago, they are all still with me.
I love that half the reasons are goofy and half are genuine
Shrimp: *Sees new owner*
Shrimp: Guess I'll die 🤷
So you're telling me my shrimp just die because they can't stand Ring Ding Dong by SHINee? Ok they deserved
I love my shrimp … I feed them a little pellet thing and I come back to the Shrimp cult
I keep thinking I have videos I missed but nope… I was here 2 months ago
Meanwhile: my amanos, haven't looked at them in ever, living their own lives, all accounted for the few times I check on them. God bless self sustaining tanks
One of those shrimp has some serious head growth. Good luck
Honestly as popular as shrimp are I prefer snails for one simple reason: they’re a lot harder to kill imo 😅
(Btw I love how in addition to giving helpful information you also mixed in some humorous comments in this vid. Informative *and* entertaining!)
always trying for that balance!
I've determined that mts are actually immortal. I've had them survive the tank being fully empty (just damp sand) for months. There has been assassin snails in the tank for 5 years and the assassins are breeding, and yet the mts colony is just as large as its always been.
Its not possible to kill them 😂
Ive had a single ghost shrimp i bought 2 years ago...idk how its still alive even after tank changes but that sucker is still alive and thriving
My therapist: you can't read people's minds. Not everyone is going to dislike you just by looking at you
My shrimp: bet
Thx my shrimp just died so this helps😊
which reason do you think it was?
#1) they crawl outta the tank
#2) they crawled out the tank
#3) they crawl out of the tank
#4) they just crawl out
#5) they will crawl out of the tank
#6) they crawl out of the tank
im gonna buy a banjo and play it in front of shrimp
R. I. P shrimp (0000-2023)
I absolutely LOVED my ghost shrimp and they loved me too. They created 3-4 generations and it was so beautiful to see the shrimp eggs in the mama shrimps tummy. Just 20 little green balls with eyes haha
I think water changes are a variable.. depending on the type of shrimp and how stable you can keep you water perimeters
My shrimp died because my turtle ate them. Knowing their toxic personality, they probably said racist crap to piss off my turtle. 💀
in my experience turtles are even more racist, have you seen videos where turtles will headbutt a shoe that is black but leave a white shoe alone
@@FishForThought I did name my shrimp Mr. Bigotes, this was definitely racially monivated! I'm starting to see the turtle's true shell. 🤯
lol. I just had to tell you that I honestly want to know how to do a little tank with just shrimp because I think my grandchildren would enjoy it and I don’t want fish picking them off. but you made me laugh out loud and I really did enjoy the tidbits that you threw in. Thank you for making my day today.
I've been gathering things to do the same thing! I love watching them & thought it would be neat to have a small tank just for them. Now he scared me!😢
Came for the knowledge, stayed for the humor!
I had a shrimp army and I literally just put em in a tank with some plants and they just multiplied
“Whats more ironic is that the guy who sold em said they need special care to breed”
😂😂😂😂 This was hilarious and I love the added truths in here. Drip acclimation being huge. Nobody told me this in the beginning and I almost lost all my blue dreams.
Now, I have a tank full of neos & caridinas (miraculously) plus a sweet bamboo couple. 🥰
Bruh 😢😢😢I have been raising racist shrimps, but they don't die 😂😂😂
then they’re not racist enough
This was actual PERFECTION
Honestly might be one of the truest videos to exist on youtube
FF: "If you play country music, it'll kill itself"
Me: That's fair
I made sealed biospheres for mine and they're doing great. Even saw a baby today. Never had them before and I heard they are sensitive to water changes so I used the bottle betta water from the pet store. No acclimation and no deaths. It's been about a week now
I like how half of this is like a joke and the other is like actual useful information
At my pet store they told me, that feeding to much protein can cause them to grow to fast so they have trouble moulting and die. Turns out my 5 man shrimp crew (neocaridina) had to much left overs from my kuhli loaches and grew in record time. Calcium deficiency was also part of the problem.
I actually just started my first-ever tank 3 months ago and all of my shrimp are thriving. they haven't bred but they're all still alive and I did everything wrong.
I have 4 Japanese shrimps in my main tank with fish. They are molding every month and love to just chill on the decorations. Soo I guess mine are nice lol
I've found that they actually prefer when i supply them with teeth. Mine specifically, i'm running out and they've acquired weapons. I'm out of baby teeth and all my premolars. Not sure how they can tell the difference.
I’ve kept ghost shrimp, many of them have died, but I want to keep some in my community tank with platy, Molly, skirt tetras, rosy red minnow, guppy or siamese algae eater
Misandrist shrimp. One of God’s most beautiful creations
My shrimp is 34 years old so she must realllly love me . She floats at the top of the tank all day just staring
I think that shrimp after you said perverts has vorticella
i love how this is a joke but also somewhat helpful 😂
My Amano shrimp are soldiers. They've survived 3 tank changes, the first was from an overstocked, small tank with high nitrite. Glad they're in a good home now.
I love how in between everything there are some actually helpful tips someone might've been pulling their hair out over.
Finally a reasonable Video!! I finally see clearly
Bro the humor got me subscribed😂😂🤣
Never done a water change and the shrimp population is growing exponentially..
They also have such short lifespans they might be on their way to death before you even get them.
Honestly for me it depends on which store you got them and whether they are healthy and can adapt well😂😂
I've got cherries, amanos and a vampire shrimp with my newly added betta fish.. The water parameters must be spot on because my amanos are breeding like wild rabbits which apparently is quite rare for that species of shrimp.. I normally check the water parameters with a tester kit every so often and take a little of their water out if need be to just clean the filter.. So far they've been doing swell and even my male betta hasn't been following the voices in his head that tell him to eat every one around him so I'm hoping I can keep that luck 😂
My first ever batch of shrimp must've loved me cuz they lived full lives and I've lost count on what generation of shrimp I'm on. I've also bought a few shrimp every other generation to keep the gene pool diverse.
I had planaria explode in the tank when one of my snails died and I was in NJ for work. Then they started eating my other snail alive. They mostly left the shrimp alone though.
Axolotls definitely need substrate! Sand is their natural substrate. NO GRAVEL due to their poor eyesight they could ingest it when eating and that can lead to disaster. Also at minimal a 20gal tank. Too small of a space is detrimental to them so nothing below that.
Edit to add: When I say sand, I don't mean coarse sand.
I showed my shrimp this video and they all died………….LAUGHING!!!!
Ooooooh! The radio was on a Country station... now it all makes sense! Okay, station has been changed, maybe I'll try shrimp again, now I know the reasons!
You’re not lying! 😂
Ive got tiny, tiny, see through shrimp in a small heavily planted no filter nano tank
Can't agree with #6.
I feel like the closer a tank is to Nature the better, it runs it's self and the animals always learn to adapt with nature.
I have a planted tank and it takes care of itself. I literally don't have to do anything. No feeding, NO water changes, only top-offs, No cleaning, No medicating, No worries, No stress. And I have 4 generations of Mollys & 2 generations of Amano Shrimp in that same tank.
As my uncle aka the Big Kahuna would say always trying to keep the brown man down 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 as someone who loves shrimp and killed somewhere around 30 trying, IT'S TOUGH!! I finally (fingers crossed no jinx) have a stable tank and have had my shrimp for a while but MAN I FELT THIS
I love the humor mixed with facts😂 10/10
Havent change the water ever since my plant grows
Just add some water if the water level drops
Set up outside with sunlight all day
Would cover if it rains
Still they lay eggs
im unsure of the normal shrimp lifespan (cause of conflicting information online) but my first shrimp died today after 3 years.. hopefully he had an ok life at least
I have a perfect 75 gallon aquarium. Loads of plants, loads of natural detritus and food sources for the shrimp, loads of space, very good filtration, no other fish. Except that I have a black piranha. No big deal, they’re so small he won’t even mind them. I was wrong, the day I fed him he also decided to bite the face off of a nice female cherry shrimp. There are still a few left but man do I hate him now 😂😂😂😂😂
I mean... the ghost shrimp at your local petsmart/petco don't take care of them or even feed them. So theirs a high chance it's a 100% mortality rate. I managed to get two of ten ghost shrimp to live up to four months before dying. This was several attempts. They were also barely 60 cents per shrimp.
my local petsmart sells ghosts for $3.99 each, its absolutely ridiculous
Number 11: Your hungry💀
My first 2 batches died within 2 weeks 😭 Now my current batch still alive after 2 months. 💪
Man.. i just threw them into my dirt planted aquarium and they multiplied like crazy, i had no filter, did no water changes, fed them cucumbers and salad every 14 days probablly and they thrived😂
Every shrimp i have had died except my amano shrimp. Those shrimp are build like tanks. Going 4 years now and my original 5 are going strong.
I loved how he made a joke inbreed each reason😂
The facts in-between the sarcasm👌🏻
Of course it’s Cupid playing in the background
I love this style of content now.
Great work!
I love how my first goldfish, filthy dirty poop tank where I ordered cheap amazon shrimp, threw them in with no acclimation survived for YEARS. Now I am taking it serious, aquascaped beautifully, got a very understocked fish selection, they died 6 times. I have spent so much money on them and they just don't work out
“🎶When the sun goes down, on my side of town 🎶”
RIP shrimp
I've been told that playing Careless Whisper will help.
No wonder my shrimps keep dying. I play country music 24/7

IM COMFUSED WHOS WHO MY MIND IS GETING AN EROR
Lmao Ay it’s like they know when my check fall through 😅
Nice job sir. Thanks for the laugh and simultaneous education.
istg, i mever even touch my shrimp tank, they all just live happily with 2 small algea wafers every week
The close-up shrimp has vorticella, you might want to treat it before it dies of racism, Chris haha 😂😅
Number 11: my betta decided they were all food
All of these are very accurate statements regarding shrimps.
I have to do water changes so slowly due to my tap water temperature!! I've gone through a lot of thermometers. Never get a submerged battery thermometer ☠️ miraculously they survived a 2 month power outage through the middle of winter!
Fatherfish style will help out tremendously
I once had a nice planted 5g fluval with crystal reds and I had to use distilled water for all water changes. How do these things survive in the wild?!¹
¹Yes, I am aware these are bred specifically for the aquarium industry and are inbred af. But they *_are_* a species native to Taiwan, the bee shrimp _(Caridina cantonensis)._
I'd like to try again one day, and breed shadow pandas. Those things are gorgeous and sell for a lot at your LFS!
My brother just got shrimp. Thanks for the pro tip 👍. However as a poor male member of a minority, I don't think he'll have much luck.
I put shrimp in a 6 gallon that I only fed and topped up the water on. They only died once we had a power outage about 8months later.
I thought all my shrimp died, left a tank for months without doing anything, filter, light and heater shut off. I began draining the tank and found a couple, felt horrible but set the tank back up for them, then they immediately died.
I have never once drip acclimated fresh water shrimp. Theyve all survived. As long as your tank is established with good water parameters they do fine. Drip acclimation is only necessary with marine shrimp imo
This was HILARIOUS!!!
