Elton John, dressed as Mozart, doing jumping jacks. That’s a sentence you don’t expect to read or write, yet here we are.

What a party that was!!!!!!!! Why can't music be as fun as this now!? Now this is ROCK and roll!!!! Tens of thousands of people, balloons and confetti, a flippin' orchestra, a rock and roll band, and Elton John.... what could be better!!!!!!?

I’m glad he seems to have been in a good mood this night, otherwise the confetti on the piano keys that he desparately tries to wipe off would probably have freaked him out. But still, the general party mood is pretty contagious I guess.

MCA better include this in a remaster of the Live in Australia album because I’ve waited far too long for a complete version

@@ernestgunter2726 It was unfortunately only the Australian leg of this tour that featured the orchestra. America and Europe only had the band (which still produced a huge sound, and were amazing in their own right). But I'd imagine if Elton had the money for it he'd have toured the States and some of Europe with an orchestra, he would have. Moving all those people and all that staging across a country is not an easy or cheap task lol

It’s a reference to the fact that women when Motzart was alive often wore fake beauty marks as part of their makeup as it was considered fashionable (and it’s now somewhat a stereotype of the time period)

Is it because of this video that makes you think Elton can't do anything without his band? Or shows from late 1986? How about some solo shows from the 70's, 90's, and 00's? They were all great!
