We may not all have this kind of talent....but man am I glad that this man shared his talent with the entire world. Great great song....even greater video!!!!! 👍
One could honestly say this is both the highest and lowest form of professionalism. To be able to crush it in key/on time/no noticeable mistakes is amazingly hard and the height of skill and being a professional.....yet flying so high on cocaine you throw your chair out of the way hope on the piano and play on the ground is wicked unprofessional. Absolutely amazing honestly.
To Sir Elton John...I hope Levi is doing well...my prayers go out to your family....thank you for all those beautiful songs your write...its Saturday 2014.... Love forever Pam and Tom Petty....xoxoxo

elton has a super human voice...how did he do this night after night..still does...amazing
My wife and kid thought I was nuts when this song came on the radio. I cranked it up and was singing along, driving down the road. Been fun showing them good music lol
Ok this is insane. I mean his performance gets crazier and more brilliant as the song goes on. But leading his band in a duck crawl and then lying underneath the piano while still playing it is a proper finish for frenetic performance like this one.
Loved Rock Elton it will be the performance I will always remember with a smile ,playing air guitar and jumping all over his piano-such a legend Sir Elton❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lucky you that your born in the 50's... I'm born in the 80's and my first memory of Elton is Lionking.... That's just sad, because he had so many hits before that one. In many ways i would have liked to be born in the 50's.... Damn... =/
Talent, it makes you do amazing things. ---- Wow. I think I went to the Texas version of this concert that year. It all looked very familiar. Including his wardrobe and his jumping on the piano and throwing his jacket off during that song. Who knows. But this was great.
One must stand back and marvel at the unbridles talent that is Elton. Sort of sublime and yet a mystery as to how one can rock so hard, yet be so cool under the white hot lime light. just a tad odd, Still hacking it out on a grand piano, instead of modern version on an elevated stand. That is just his style - I guess.
named my 11ft long show bike yellow snow Detroit bike show had saturday night's alright for f--king on top of the tank. seen Elton live many times good memories
3:36. He throws the piano bench, likely breaking it. Then when he goes back to the piano to play it a minute later he has to sit on the ground to play it and then stand. How logical is that?
He was inconsistent in playing live in the 80s. This happened to be one of the good ones. His cocaine either fueled on fire performances like this or ones where he forgot words to his songs and stared glassy eyed at his piano. I don’t think he played great at Live Aid.
To all our fellow Elton John Fans....It is confirmed "Saturday's ALL RIGHT FOR FIGHTING...". And we mean business-All day long, into the night, and longer...Let's PARTY...the boys from West Hollywood drove all the way up here and checked into the Embassy Suites, where our other friends are getting the party prepared-LOTS of Kegs and bottles of beer at our Party. Of course, we're Russian, so there will be PLENTY of VODKA for everyone....But you can also bring your own...The more Vodka, the merrier.
One of the all-time great performances by Elton's dealer

Feel the energy in this performance!! Puts todays music to shame!

fantastic performance by Elton John and his band!
I was there and 19 years old. It was awesome!
Yes, I was there that night in front of him. I can't forget for the rest of my life. Sure, it was a wonderful night.
Hot Damn... That's the best version I have ever heard...!!!
Pure magic, love this play it everyday, gets the blood pumping at 62.
My favorite version of the song!
Coked up and smashing it - what rock n roll was all about.
im straight up terrified of this performance
The only reason I am here is because Elton is such a legend. What a song and performance! Can't wait to see him live for the first time this year :D
First time I seen Elton without his glasses haha... GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!
The one and only mr elton john and his great band summer 1984
Kingsman The Golden Circle Brought me Here and i gotta tell you the scene when they use this song is fucking amazing!
MOZART THE SAME EFEN REASON I CAME HERE THAT MOVIE MADE ME REALIZE HE WAS EVEN SAYING SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL....................
@3:35: "when the coke finally kicks in" lol
I especially love how the cameraman just super nonchalantly ducks, then stands back up. Classic.
Nah...the coke kicked in @ 1:04 LOL
I’m only drunk but I definitely felt that!
The person who it hit...;-;
Idk why but 2:28 is my favorite part when his voice goes high on the "get a little action in"
"Uhh, shouldn't that be Saturday?"
"What day is it?"
"Wednesday"
"Exactly!"
Mert Ceylan I love kingsman 2 watch 100 times
I watched it millions of times and I still love it

One of the best rock songs ever. Thanks for sharing this performance, it made me smile out loud :-)
How the fuck do you smile out loud? A smile is not a sound.

This concert and the one with Queen 1986 must be the two greatest both old and new Wembley has ever seen.
For me - the best version of this amazing song!!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! Super perfomance!!!!! For eternity..... Elton forever!!!!!!

Hockey Night in Canada uses this as an intro w/wicked montages on Saturdays sometimes...its awesome. Gets me hyped everytime!
Ok this is insane. I mean his performance gets crazier and more brilliant as the song goes on. But leading his band in a duck crawl and then lying underneath the piano while still playing it is a proper finish for frenetic performance like this one.
Escobar smiling down from heaven at his success

Greatest rock and roll song ever! I saw him perform at Red Rocks and he is the quintessential showman! Sir Elton!!!!
Best version of this Song !

Lol I was born in 1998 and sometimes wish I had born in the 80's
"Born in the wrong generation".
I was born in 1956 and you are correct.
The 50s were a shitty decade. The 80s were a shitty decade. Your best bet is not wanting to be born at all.
50s? 70s was Elton, Doobies, Fleetwood...................
One of my favorite versions of one of my favorite songs. When a huge band goes into overdrive...well, that's a show!!!
4:10 Rare Davey Johnstone piano moment
davey tambien tocaba el piano??
30 years & Elton john's still got it
Nearly 40 now, can you believe it?
I love hearing Dee Murray thank the crowd at the end of the song- "Whoa, thank you Wembley Arena."
Wembley Stadium was the home of some of the best shows ever.
Talent, it makes you do amazing things. ---- Wow. I think I went to the Texas version of this concert that year. It all looked very familiar. Including his wardrobe and his jumping on the piano and throwing his jacket off during that song. Who knows. But this was great.
Wow he was so young! great song!
This may have been the most electrifying and fantastic 6 minutes of my life.
Great sound!
Love how the song gets faster and faster as it goes on. Lots of nose pinching, too 🙂
He still does it nowadays
Que du bonheur cet artiste
What a showman! I love watching him with BJ (Billy Joel, that is).
Sublime performance!!!
His best concert from the 80s. This show has to be released on DVD on its enterity and with bonus
Dee Murray! Thumping 🤙
love the ''getting late'' the rough voice
I love this man!!
This Rock 'n'Roll guys !!!!!! And i love it like that !!!!

Dee Murray, underrated bass player!
God I love him. 600th comment too
Elton is the best thing since Rock. There will NEVER be anyone like him. PERIOD.
You know it's the 80s when Elton John looks the least gay of all the people on stage
On the other hand, Freddie Mercury looked the most gay and the most straight at the same time
GAMING LEGEND Heh, I would have said the same thing about Rob Halford (although he was still in the closet back then)
@@gaminglegend didn't expect you here

Love how the Who made a cover of this. It rocks!
Amai, amai... Fantastisch!!
I remember how happy I was when I heard this song in Gnomeo & Juliet. :D I'm addicted to this song.
named my 11ft long show bike yellow snow Detroit bike show had saturday night's alright for f--king on top of the tank. seen Elton live many times good memories
The misheard lyrics are interesting for this one; "Drink a little drink and shout obscenities."
He will definitely make it to the big stage one day
What a f***ing talent, man…
DarkSoul99 xXx Dumbass.
great song
Rock and/or roll. Pure as it gets.
Stand on those keys, Hercules!
Wow, fast tempo! I worry that my band plays it too fast, but we are nowhere near this pace! Exciting performance. Great band!
+SILVERMINE Band the whole show was 100mph
+SILVERMINE Band Cocaine is a hell of a drug lol
he really loves that microphone:)
I love this man
This, and my cousin Steve Wentz are basically why I started to play piano
Great concert. Sir Elton’s 1984 Wembley concert was his equivalent of Queen’s 1986 Wembley concert
3:52
This moment when he sings with everyone, it’s amazing
Kingsman.
As a DJ it is my mission to create the ultimate WALL OF SOUND, so cherished a concept by Phil Spector...MUSIC VIDEOS SUCH AS THESE FILL THE BILL.
YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
smashing, awesome, it was lightning ... \m/
"The Tide is High" by Blondie...Play it in CONJUNCTION with this song, SATURDAY NIGHT'S ALL RIGHT FOR FIGHTING...
SO MUCH ENERGY !
3:36. He throws the piano bench, likely breaking it. Then when he goes back to the piano to play it a minute later he has to sit on the ground to play it and then stand. How logical is that?
Rock and roll man.
Cocaine makes you do some crazy shit lpl
@@designator4 haha true :).

WOW what an Entertainer.
Elton John is the kind of guy that will drink till he drops and will get into any fight he can! Oops sorry had sarcasm lock on!
back in those days he was a booze-hound though so no need for sarcasm
Elton had said that Freddie could out do him, now that's saying something
Brilliant
Best rock n roll musician ever
He's the greatest ever!!!!!!! No words....... :-) :-)
Full Power song!!
Holy hell that tempo!
Wednesday night alright
This is what you call a performance on fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This should have been his Live Aid set up! He would've outdone Queen then!
He was inconsistent in playing live in the 80s. This happened to be one of the good ones. His cocaine either fueled on fire performances like this or ones where he forgot words to his songs and stared glassy eyed at his piano. I don’t think he played great at Live Aid.
My 7-year old just said that "He seems kind of weird, but cool." She nailed Sir Elton.
