I have listened to TheWaterboys for many years on my working travels abroad, and I am amazed to only discover this song today! Great Christmas present. Thanks for the upload. Lovely, absolutely lovely!!
+Bert Wells Same for me Burt! It was predicted to be a hit but as Mr. Scott suggests (from his book Adventures of a Waterboy) it wasn't promoted well...(He was thought of as Waterboy#1) Happy to find it here for sure!
oh man, thankyou for sharing this! I didn't know any music videos of Mike Scott existed other than Whole of The Moon and A Girl Called Johnny. Great stuff.
I can understand - I much prefer the live video performances, even if they are a bit rough around the edges - the WB's & Mike Scott have produced a number of videos for their single releases (December, A Girl Called Johnny, The Big Music, The Whole of the Moon, Glastonbury Song, Building theCity of Light, The Return of Pan, Bring Em All In, and Rare, Precious & Gone) - by far the best was "The Whole of the Moon" which I think might have even been recorded live & is available on You Tube.
Lovely song. Out of curiosity, does anyone know: is there a meaning to the gestures he repeats very obviously, like one arm curled over his head, for instance?
The most consistently original songwriter of his generation. Kudos Mike. 👍
I was born to this song OMG!! This is because it made my mum feel happy and it helped here to relax
What a great way to enter this world.. your mum sounds cool.
My favourite Mike Scott song. The perfect love song.
Mike has earned where he is today. Self-realization is the key. This song explains self-realization.
His greatest record. Brilliant song and the strings just lift it up to heaven.

Me Too..I ball every time I hear this...
