An important part of their relationship is that, while they're both functional sociopaths, Asuna is almost entirely manipulative in her relationships while Kirito is almost the opposite in that he pretends to be immune to regular emotional damage, but it actually hurts him to endure this, but both of them can't keep their facades up when they're both failing someone they love. They were faced to realize how abysmally out of touch and inadequate they both were and agreed to be better despite everything else.
Im so glad that you still get the feels from this episode… although sadly not the “don’t mind me, just gonna cry in a corner for a couple days” type feels of the original… or the other episode that you will know about if you watched the extra episodes
Bro, the tone is his voice is not "yup, let it out", it's "yup, read your script and play ball, I'm NOT going to lose to you" Man is broken so bad he loves this world because winning and losing is clear-cut when you're a sociopath; you win, or you die. So he wins. It's the only thing that continues to justify his existence until he accepts that Asuna loves him even with his broken pieces.
I absolutely love this episode! For real. The way it plays out here in the abridged is so much more real and hard hitting in the feels than the original. This. This is why saoa is not just as good as others, but top if theheap in my opinion. Saiyiki abridged by white ash 007 was good, but hit and miss. Dbza started off decent but worked up to being fantastic. Hellsing abridged was just damn insanely good, but the general good of the original I can see turning people off. Yugioh abridged, again, holds. Niche zone for those who enjoyed the original and got a bunch of the 4 kiids mocking in it. This right here, is something everyone can enjoy, because whether people play games or not, the idea of life being a simulation or some ready player one stuff is a pretty neat concept a lot of people think about, even if they don't openly admit it, and these relationships so far play out more like real people instead of the whole anime protagonist live interest nonsense going on in the original. Something witty has done an exceptional job with this episode in particular and I can't get enough of it!
Funny story this was the 1st episode of this abridged series I saw. More accurately, the episode's cold open was the first thing I ever watched, and you can imagine my response to it. @20:22 I love that line “I am sick & tired of you kicking my heart in the dick”. It’s the only line I use in my real life, when prudent that is, LOL
I swear, the internal dialog is only beaten by Octopimp's 50% of Free!
"Haru?"
"what? What? What? What? What? What?"
"WHAT?!"
Kirito got his PTSD out of the way much earlier than Asuna did.
Kinda glad they won't have 'ANY' problems after this with their relationship
this episode had a like of wild concepts that paint quite a mental picture
every time i picture kirby's face on abridged asuna i can't stop laughing because it fits so well XD
Even if this is the abridged, this episode still almost hits as hard as the original. Yui best daughter.
Oh it gets worse. Yui was pranking them here, they imprisoned her by accident
The actual episode of the anime hits even harder in the feels
A really cool thing about this episode is that the glitch affects are an addition that SWE themselves made and it looks SO good.
Kirito had admin privileges because he was at an admin console which Yui had just activated. 👍
No, he's an Early Beta Player, likely Alpha and, given how both Abridged and OG seem to be "that player" they just let him keep access to help/fix game problems on the fly. Also, I mean, it's explained later in both shows, he's hand picked by the Dev team to be the hero so I wouldn't put it past Kayaba just, you know, adding the tag to his character and just... not removing it in the full release
Once you make it through the first season together, I’d recommend watching Explanation Point’s videos on this series: “The Genius of SAO Abridged”. There’s two videos on it and the first is called “Fixing What’s Broken”.
My personal favorite episode of the whole series
Just wait til next season...those feels will shatter like a baseball threw a window. 🤣
I find it somewhat ironic that Takahata is playing a character telling another to stay hidden while "peace talks" are going on when he also played a character who had to stay hidden during "money talks"
Episode 10 is honestly one of the best episodes :) Kirby's reactions are still awesome!
After episode 11, I highly recommend watching/reacting to Explanation Point’s 2 videos about SAO Abridged. Definitely worth a view!
PLEASE
1:30 - 2:40 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This part alone broke me, can't stop laughing!! You both are awesome 😂👍
I've watch SAO Abridged too many times to count. I never get old of it and seeing such great funny reactions to a great piece of art and sharing it around is great. YOU NEED TO WATCH FATE STAY NIGHT ABRIDGED TOO. BABERRRRR
Yui hacked the Console in the safe room, the reason she got deleted in the first place.
YOU FOOL, YOU'VE DOOMED US ALL
watch this episode with subtitles
it is so much better.
And by the way the curveball was a referance to an scane before where she throwed something and instead of immortal object it shows new record in throwing sorry i am not native in english.^^
I wanted to know what love is, I know you could show me... god damn foreigner.... hahah always gets me. One of the best Songs ever made imo.
The episode that broke everyones heart despite it being an abridge comedy series.
back from the lapdance club and this was uploaded its a good day hope you both are doing well btw.
"Am i really like that"
"Yes 😂 for far less things"
"😂 like what"
Me:"dont answer that question! All answers are wrong answers!!"
i’m not that bad
@@kirbysuniverse I don't think you are. That interaction was great though 😁
They were faced to realize how abysmally out of touch and inadequate they both were and agreed to be better despite everything else.
your face when she asked "like what" is fucking priceless 13:49
Kirito made use of the admin console while it was still accessed to save Yui before he got locked out.
No, you don't remember who she is, but you remember her group. She's a branch of the Spanish guitar guy's meat shields.
Im so glad that you still get the feels from this episode… although sadly not the “don’t mind me, just gonna cry in a corner for a couple days” type feels of the original… or the other episode that you will know about if you watched the extra episodes
The duck “parenting is rough”
Kirby “👌🏼”
Neither have kids
Bro, the tone is his voice is not "yup, let it out", it's "yup, read your script and play ball, I'm NOT going to lose to you"
Man is broken so bad he loves this world because winning and losing is clear-cut when you're a sociopath; you win, or you die.
The internal dialogue in this episode take a good episode and turn it into a great one.
After this Arc you should watch Explanation Point's videos about how SAO abridged fixed SAO
Why did you say yes!?
Asuna:"I DON'T KNOW!"
Kirito has admin privileges because of the giant admin console in front of him.
The "admin provilleges" Kirito mentioned was being able to access that console, It's hidden in the show and Yui actually shows It to him.
Kirito: "How did you get in our house?"
Me: "That's where babies come from!"
The „Bitch why did you say yes?!“ „I don’t knoooooooow!!!“ Gets me every fucking time! 😂😂😂
This scene will always make me cry, I started tearing up way before it came up 19:22
Funny story this was the 1st episode of this abridged series I saw. More accurately, the episode's cold open was the first thing I ever watched, and you can imagine my response to it. I still intend to rip it off wholesale for one of my own stories.
I still haven't sat down to watch this thing in it's entirety, I know I'm long overdue to do so, but I love everything I've seen about it.
"less people than a loose collection of character defects"
You can just say "humanity" next time, but I also quote this as necessary. Of course, I'm the same because we all are.
just noticed the window at the end is VERY close to the Hollows (hp reference) symbol. Never noticed before as was always distracted in the end. Oh and the episodes only ever get better and better from here. ^.^ so buckle up and enjoy the ride :p
oh yea youre right, that is so cool!
