The sound is completely different compared to the biturbo setup found on the regular Audi S8.

That haldex must be fucked or something. They’re stable at 1000bhp usually.

1k hp and stock internals ! 😮😮 What a setup !!
Mad power on stock internals, but then I did just watch Alex from sheepy on a podcast and he was saying they pushed the Audi/lambo v10 platform to 1700+ (but yes e80/85 reliant) when first trying to test the limits. So makes you wonder what the v8 in the s8/rs6 of this year can take on stock internals. 1000bhp in that barge is mental, limo vibes on steroids.
Stock as far as I know the same what the older engine does. At around 1000hp is the limit. The german tuner KKS Performance tuned an S8 of the newer gen to 1050hp. Because of fuel issues they melted the piston and had to rework the engine. They put in a Bugatti Veyron-Level fuel pump, new sleeves and pistons. They said that the engine in this state could do 1500hp. The gearbox would work as well but no Launch Control anymore. The Audi s6 c7.5 has 450hp stock and just with software you can tune it to over 600hp. Sadly it has the 7 speed dual clutch so gearbox and not the 8 speed torque converte like the s8/RS6. So the gearbox is the limit there...

I must say, I never cared for the sound of hot v8s because of the really weird rasp they have. The single conversion seems to eliminate that and now sounds really smooth and clean and little higher pitch😊

This is what I like to see more of Jamie, the car looks bland and common (I know they’re quite rare, I just mean they all look the same) but wow does that thing make a beautiful sound and no doubt go like f*#k!!!
Proper embracing the front and rear aiming for opposite ditches until it powers into a straight line looks wild for such a big motor haha!

I had a drive in an stock S8 plus D4 and I couldn't believe how fast it is, I can't even imagine how fast this is

I think the power is perfect maybe work on suspension upgrades to help put the power down. Possible tires and lsd if has one idk. But that power is perfection.

Theres a guy local to me apparently running just over 1000bhp in his S8 with the twin turbo setup still in place, hybrid turbo's and lots of other work, it would be interesting to see the single turbo vs twin turbo on the strip and see how they compare

Ugh I love this too much. I had the same body style S8 and I got rid of it because it was potentially so expensive to fix. And there was no way I could afford a single turbo setup. But gosh I hope someday i can afford one to do this someday.
