- I have been eagerly waiting for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. So, while I wait for my Collector's Edition, Amiibo, Pro Controller, and Carrying Case, I am SUPER excited to unbox my brand new OLED Nintendo Switch! Let's check it out!

I got it from Target as well. I try to get consoles from Target because 5% off using my Target card. Saved $18 on this OLED. I noticed the frame around the screen is glossy instead of matte. Target decided to put that bar code sticker on the center of the box on the back. Thankfully, it peeled off without damaging the box. I am glad I waited to get an OLED. Awesome edition.

This is exactly what I did! I was playing my switch handheld when I first got it but mainly I just use it docked. Until now I haven’t wanted an upgrade until this special edition. Picked mine up at target this morning and waiting for the huge library of games I have to redownload. That has to be my only gripe with it, wish my SD card could have kept all of my games without having to redownload. But that screen is a game changer.

The hdmi that comes with the OLED is HDMI 2.0, if you want the best quality out of your oled use the nee hdmi cable

I also just got it yesterday !! So happy with it, I can’t wait for the 12th. I already have an oled model so I’m looking to sell it, will try on marketplace if none of my friends or family want it
Also you’re right, I don’t have the special edition sticker but a tears of the kingdom one on the box. I got the console in Switzerland

haha, what you said about getting the oled, till zelda, is EXACTLY, my thoughts exactly, i just play mine on the tv ONLY, so, there was no point in me upgrading to the OLED, BUT, Zelda, like you, i love zelda, i have been playing it since the NES and it was my fav from back then, when i was only just a mini, so, yeah, i HAD to get this, i have been waiting for a zelda edition since the switch came out, way back when, great vid dude
Ok bro, one problem, if you keep opening the kickstand by getting your finger on the vents, you WILL indent them and there is no fix. Open it from the middle to keep it in good condition

It may be not smart on my part as I already have the oled since a year after launch, I also bought this Zelda one because of collecting purposes. LOVE Zelda themed Nintendo consoles. After the 3ds shop closed the 3ds -especially the Zelda one have raised in resell price. So I got this guy for retail. My first Oled works but yeah I got this and had to share the story. I’m sure it’s a nice 360$ + well spent
Very nice console. I just wish Nintendo had done a little more with it kind of like they did with the Pokemon OLED. Though the gold and green look awesome, it still looks super plain in my opinion but still nice nonetheless.
