- Decking the White House halls for the holidays is a long-standing tradition. It began with first lady Jacqueline Kennedy in 1961 with a display that paid homage to "The Nutcracker." Since then, first ladies have taken it upon themselves to help design some truly unique holiday decor. First lady Barbara Bush returned to the Kennedy's "Nutcracker" theme in 1990. People made fun of trumps and Melania tree so much she went with a green tree in 2018 my tree is white she obviously liked it or she wouldn’t of picked a white tree for her house I liked her white tree so modern I would love to have that tree
I like all the styles they come up with. I just love Christmas in general, so each one held their own special touch.
Melania trump did a amazing job on the decorations also the people who helped its just beautiful

Even though Christmas is about Jesus , not about decorations or Christmas trees, The best Christmas decoration is that of First Lady Melanie. she has class, style and authenticity. nothing compared to the others, not even to Mrs. Obama. I love Nancy Regan's Mother Goose theme. I liked Obama's tree too with all the ornaments sent out to be decorated from people around the country. Love all the gingerbread houses too!

I just came from a video that compared Obama Christmas and Trump Christmas....but when I saw Melania Trump included the Christmas belen or nativity scene, I knew the Trump Christmas decorations was already the best! The birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is the highlight of Christmas, not the Christmas trees or Santa and etc.
I love how all the former first lady's each had a minute or two of their time in the white house during Christmas and Melania only got maybe 15 second's if that 😂

Give me the White House budget and about 2-300 artists, designers, and workers I will be happy to compare. I did notice that the previous First Ladies made a point of giving credit to designers, artists, and workers for the wonderful decorations but Mrs. Trump, of course, did it all by her little ol' self.
