@@feuilletoniste I'm with you. While Gab's comparison of Dave to Hank is pretty apt, at least in B&B SOME people appreciated and were nice Hank. The only person who hasn't been a real jerk so far to Dave is the relic guy. Making your protagonist an underdog is a pretty good way to have the audience sympathize with them, so I get where they're going here. But you have to be careful not to make all your other character's unlikable, or the protag's treatment be so miserable without any comeuppance / triumph. B&B walked that line overall pretty well.
I agree. Poor Dave was called on his vacation and not even told what the job would be or pay, then has to dive and also serve customers? Also, a lot more than what I thought the game was. I only knew about the diving aspect.

Not enough people know about this but AUTO SUPPLY is super important! If you add everything to the menu, the stuff not used gets wasted. If you set 1 item on the menu and auto supply it only uses the ingredients when it gets ordered!! It saves you from wasting fish and you’ll have PLENTY left over the next day!! ❤❤
Dave was ready for his buddy to put him to work. He showed up in scuba suit and tank. I feel like Cobra does that to him a lot, better be paying for that flight.
Dave is my type of man. he can dive in deep water finding treasure and sea life and he can tell me about his adventures while i try not to be terrified of the fear of whales 😅
I feel that so much lol. Cetaphobia is a real thing and it’s a pain in the ass lol. Pretty sure I got mine from watching Star Trek: The Voyage Home as a child. So many closeup whale scenes and it terrified me haha. To this day as a grown ass adult I still can’t rewatch that movie without my anxiety freaking out lol.

I just tried playing this game today, knew absolutely nothing about it beforehand, I pretty much just knew the name and that it's about fishing and I LOVE it!!! After playing for like 2 hours I came straight to gab's playthrough since I always like her playthroughs of games I enjoy!
I love the vibe of this game! The cutscenes are so fun, and I love how the underwater environment is sorta 3D. The dolphins' animations are so graceful!

I chuckle when you have to do the serving part! I work at a music venue that is also restaurant heavy. We seat over 500, and it’s open seating, so when it’s a sold out show, people literally run in to get a good seat! When I worked at other restaurants, servers would be upset if they got double seated. Now I work at a place where your entire section (46-52 people) gets filled within 5-10 minutes. They all want drinks and food and I gotta time all of it so they get everything- drinks, share plates for apps, side condiments etc.- before the food does. I wanna wear a camera one of these days to show people how chaotic it is. 😂

Just a tip for later in the game after the first boss - there’s a mission where you have to get three different items - they’re not just in the same region, but they’re in spots you have to revisit to find those key items. Trying not to be spoilery but yah, that bit had me stuck for a fair few game days hahaha… such a fun game, thanks for the recommendation!
The diving parts of this game are giving me flashbacks to an old Barbie scuba diving/underwater exploration game I used to play back in the day and now I’m feeling nostalgic! Then I started going down a rabbit hole and remembered the Barbie horse riding game that I used to spend HOURS playing on an almost daily basis. I need to find those games.
