Join me on this unexpected journey as I ride Paris Brest Paris (PBP) in France. The oldest cycling event still in existence today, and the pinnacle of the audax and randonneuring. A bucket list ultra-distance cycling event of 1200 km.

Congratulations! I knew you are strong but 54h!?! It was so exciting to follow you with the app. To think I was proud of my 67h in 2011..., 😉
I am a lady a little older than you and did PPB with no support like you but with no drafting (it was my choice to ride alone since I did PBP with my club members in 2007). But 54h, it is an another world...

54 hrs, that's just great, I would be very happy with a 94 & OTL, I reckon many of the riders finishing ahead of you would have had personal support teams & vehicles, a bit shabby that is allowed, probably worth many many hours saved, apart from which riders with less than 50 are just machines, bet most of your viewers "like" you because your are a person, not machine, thanks for the video, keep up the great riding. PS are you still on the Power saddle you reviewed previously for the "ultra" rides or found something better?

I didn't finish, It was too hot for me I had cramps. But I was too heavy charge also compare to you.

Thank you so much 🙌 No i did not have any assistance only rely on the checkpoints for resupplying food and if I had any mechanicals. As I did not plan to sleep ( only if there were available beds at the checkpoints) I did not have to carry sleeping gear or spare clothes. I managed to travel light by wearing the same clothes for 3 days and having only a spare kit, lights and powerbanks.

were your aerobars a big benefit to hiding from the wind on these ultra distance rides? I find I can't sustain the aerobar positions anything longer than 4 hrs of ridding
