RRR is more about friendship than British Raj. Your comment proved that RRR served it's purpose.

I like that you didn't bitch about hollywood comparing both unlike every reviewer. Kantara is my favorite film of the year. It was made with 16 crore, came with no expectations and made more than 400 crore, it has 9.8 imdb rating. Directed, acted, written by one guy "Rishab Shetty". Review it next!

Actually the reviewers are just pointing out what is lacking in Hollywood movies nowadays. It is common for people to have a frame of reference when having a discussion. Maybe their critic will improve American movies.

@@Universal5-g5e exactly. Constructive criticism is a good thing. And since people are not familiar with Indian movies genre, they usually have to compare it to other movies in order to classify it. They may have to create a category for masala films from India because Hollywood does not have an all genre category.

Must watch and review the movie Sardar Udham, which is again story of India’s Independence struggle but exactly opposite of RRR. It breaks all the stereotypes of what western world thinks of “Bollywood” movie. Everyone thought this movie should have been India’s Entry for the Oscars but was rejected by the Indian jury (aargh!) because of their colonial mindset. The clock still runs on GMT.
