It’s always heartbreaking when we lose a beloved member of our family, blood related or chosen! 💔😢😟 However, it is also how you choose to look at things when reliving our precious memories of our beloved who have passed. To me your story about your Gran was incredibly heartwarming! You had an opportunity to provide her with wonderful feelings of comfort, luxurious pampering, being loved and cared for, and generally spoiled and adored by her granddaughter! It really doesn’t get too much better than that... for the giver or recipient! She loved taking care of her skin and you provided a never ending supply of love and adoration in various pots and jars of skincare! She packed up those little pots and jars of your love and adoration to have with her in her last days! Wow! What a gift you gave her and what a legacy she left you with all her love, and her show of gratitude and appreciation! I’m sorry for your loss. I still miss my Grandma every single day! It took some time before my memories brought smiles and laughter and after 12 years I have a good cry every now and again, but I think my soul just needs a good refresh and cleanse. Everyday she is missed, she is thought of and thus stays alive in my heart! The memories of her I hold dear and I am so grateful I loved her and was loved by her here on earth... but I believe our love lasts for an eternity! 💗💗💗
Lovely vlog em, I work with the vulnerable adults/ elderly / dementia, we have some residents who love skin care and hand massages. We have a dedicated room which hair and nail care. It is not just female residents who love skin care our males residents do as well. The story about your grandma is so heart warming and rings very true, I find my job more than just a job it is so rewarding. It's great having a lots of grandparents who aren't blood related, an honour to tend to them at their end of life xx❤
