Another good tip from Shure is never stack receivers with antennas attached. If you don't have access to an antenna signal distributer, space the receivers 3 feet apart along your bench to double your range and prevent dropouts.

The free downloadable Shure Wireless Workbench is the best tool yet for analyzing wireless mic interference bands. It has an extensive database of wireless mics built-in and can automatically optimize frequency selection of any number of microphones operating in any combination of radio bands It will not only isolate each mic's frequency band from other mics but will predict intermodulation interference bands as well. I've used a number of Shure wireless models over the years and their durability has always impressed. Just make sure to avoid anything that works on Bluetooth or the 2.4GHz band.

Saw you across the aisle at the store on Friday and wanted to say hi but got called away. Turned out my wife was getting checked for covid and I ended up with it too, so maybe not talking was a godsend for you. my loss. Glad to see you there at least! Thanks for all you do in helping churches build effective ministry teams using tech.

@Mike Hines is right. It is accurate that Shure is out of stock. If you buy a Shure mic now, expect to receive it 6-12 months out.
Not to say you shouldn't but wireless mics, but just to keep your expectations realistic

It's more ideal to connect to a computer and stream from there. But if you want it to work with a phone, you can connect the receiver to a small audio interface like the Scarlett solo, and then connect that to a powered USB hub, then to your phone. Or you can connect the audio interface to a computer directly, which is a lot cleaner and less janky.

Interesting....I've always wondered, "in a perfect world" & if "money didn't matter" what if all instruments were on wireless. Now I'm not so shure (pun intended) that's a good idea.

First thing is the worship leader "unless he is a Audio Engineer" shouldn't be buying mic systems his Audio Engineer should be the one doing it, because he would know what is needed.

Guys first of all, I'm a huge fan of the chanel. But lately I've seen some issues that you can adress in order to continue with the quality of other videos that you make. Those cameras have no good stabilization and I find it very distracting. Some movement is grate but this is a bit too much. And autofocus in other videos also has been a nightmare to figure out what are you trying to show. Hope you could read me and maybe begin to work on some of these minor issues

this video is using two new cameras with IBIS. other than a few seconds at the beginning, I'd say the entirety of the videos is way stable compared to the other videos you're talking about.
