You’re transforming the lives of many children in Siargao. Children at a very young age need to learn the importance of education and keeping their environment clean .
Their parents should be taught as well .

My best friend was an ICU nurse at children's hospital in Dallas for 23 years. Sadly see died of cancer. But she was what I call an "Angel on earth" what that wonderful woman is doing is what I call another angel on earth. People like that r very special

Seeing this makes me very happy. These are genuine causes that I can get behind. According to the United Nations Development Program, only 9% of the world's plastic is recycled. Philippines can be an example of what can be done when people come together. I hope this can grow from 1 recycling center to many more all around the country. Anything for those kids. Shocking that their reading levels are so low.

I hope they also use solar power, like your place, to be a truly efficient recycling center. A bit concerned that the roof doesn't look sturdy enough in case of strong typhoons.

How is the local mayor and the Tourism Department contributing, support, participating in Sanna project and is all for childrens and peoples of Sargios island 🏝️🏖️.The government agencies should look into it more seriously public support like big company she even have library what a talent/ a saint come on she even have computer/special class special kids .She has great visions the third eyes none of you have...big donation is needed to do everything ... suggestions bird sanctuary will be plus sign.

Just a pity the roof trusses were not made of steel as it would last much longer than the current wooden ones. Good luck for the future.
They have limited budget. The wood will stay longer as long as treated accordingly. besides it is easy to install and I guess they used coco lumber which are abundant in the island. Steel is stronger but it has a lots of work including painting not to mention welding works. It seems the head of this project have knowledge in construction.
@Maryhilton-ws6ol The strong winds or typhoon will only damage the roof even you use steel by the wind uplift pressure. so to minimise this you have to provide ceiling or close the gap at external portions of the building. Just wait to complete their project and see how it looks.

Listening to a Sunny's Filipino/Bisaya accent (I do hear some of her original accent), I'm picking the difference of the accents that the Filipino accent sounds more relaxed or loose lol, like more syllabic, something..
Me, having lived in Manila for awhile now, I think I lost some of my original accent too 😂

Hi, I would like to learn about plastic recycleing. Im not sure if I heard something like recycled plastic in your other vlogs. I am actually interested in making a recycled blocks for walls to be used in interior wall partitions tempoary or permanent.
I suggest making hollow blocks It's better to use the mixer shredder to be stronger i am filipino looking for this like a hollow block mixed with this plastic sheredder

How wonderful that the roof is on and now the creations can begin! I love the recycled items and wish my local ♻️ center would do this instead of only selling to a big business. The town never sees any benefit monetarily nor is there a sense of community to it. Great job

9 out of 10 kids before 10 yrs old in Philippines cannot read. But the same kids can converse in English if not fluently, above average 😉

Sanne is from Sweden but has lived in Siargao for over 10 years. She has a Filipino husband and is deeply involved in the Burgos community, so the accent has become part of her too ☺️
